This was my first experience buying a car remotely. I found this BMW X5 on the BMW's US website. This vehicle fit my parameters, but was at Tischer BMW in Maryland. I called in to find more information regarding the vehicle, and was helped by Kailash Joshi. I was very happy with the guidance he provided in chosing this vehicle especially when I was a little nervous sitting 400 miles away from the dealership. Kailash and Joanna worked with me on getting good financing to make the purchase. I flew to Baltimore one-way, and Kailash was kind enough to pick me up from the airport. After arriving at the dealership, he showed me the car, and allowed me to take a test drive. I was pleased to observe that Kailash was not being pushy, and allowed me to take my time checking out the X5. Joanna went over the paperwork in detail and explained me all the options I had. We were able to finish up the paperwork quickly, after which Kailash went over all the X5 manuals/books with me. Later, Kailash gave me a very impressive demo of the car, explaining me all the features and functions that I had on my X5. I learnt things that I was not told about earlier when I purchased my 3 series (from another dealership!!). Overall, it was a very nice experience buying the X5 from Tischer BMW, especially when I was a little nervous making a decision remotely. I was on my way back to Ohio, driving and enjoying my new X5 in no time. One thing that I really appreciate is, that Kailash called me a few hours later to check on me and find out if I was doing okay on my drive back to Ohio. I would certainly recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to buy a certified or a new BMW....and just ask for Kailash and Joanna! They are great to work with! More
You have a very good Service Consultant in Michael Crawford. I called in to shop price on a brake service due to another dealer telling my brakes were paper thin. I have owned this vehicle since it was brand new and know to wait for the indicator. When I called, I could tell that the Service Department was jumping, usually on Saturday’s. The lady whom answered the phone quickly, told me all Advisors / Consultants were help other customers. She preceeded to take down my name and number. Approximately around 3:05pm, Mr. Crawford called me, gave me some pricing, and invited me to BMW of Silver Spring to have my brakes checked. At this time, I pulled up your website to see who I was on the other end of the phone. Mr. Crawford did not have to call especially when I notice your Service Department was closed. He spent more than 15 minutes on the phone with me and I did not feel rushed or hurried off the phone. I have been a loyal customer of Passport BMW, but their Service is horrible. I have been waiting three days to receive a phone call from Passport to collect the same information that Mr. Crawford provided me within a few minutes. I am sold on BMW of Silver Spring / Tischer BMW after my encounter with Mr. Crawford and after reading the nice things other customers have said here on Dealer Rater. New Service Customer, L. HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF AND WE WENT ON FROM THAT POINT. I DESCRIBED THE AUTOMOBILE TO HIM. HE WENT TO LOOK THE THE KEYS,BUT THE AUTOMOBILE WAS BEING SERVICED. KEVIN THEN IMMEDIATELY WENT TO FIND A AUTOMOBILE THAT WAS COMPATIBLE TO THE ONE I SAW ON THE WEBSITE. HE APOLOGIZED FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO LET ME TEST DRIVE THE ONE I SAW ON THE WEBSITE. JUST TO BE ABLE TO TEST DRIVE A 750LI WAS WONDERFUL. I REALLY ENJOYED THE RIDE. KEVIN IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT HIS FIELD OF WORK AND THAT MADE ME VERY HAPPY. TWO DAYS LATER I TEST DROVE THE AUTOMOBILE I SAW ON THE WEBSITE. AND LUCKY ME I'M AN PROUD OWNER OF A 750LI. I WOULD RECOMMEND TISCHER BMW TO EVERYONE I KNOW WHO WANT TO PURCHASE A BMW. We were in the research phase looking for a new car when we stopped by Tischer BMW of Silver Spring in December. Andy Alexis was provided as our sales person and we explained that we would not be purchasing we stopped by Tischer BMW of Silver Spring in December. Andy Alexis was provided as our sales person and we explained that we would not be purchasing a new vehicle until the March time frame. Andy asked what we were looking for in a vehicle and based on that had us test drive a 2011 BMW 328i. He took the time to point out all of the features prior to the drive and talked about the vehicle on the test drive. At that same visit, he also let us test drive a 2010 BMW 528i. Even though we were not buying at that time, he took the time to familiarize with each of the BMWs and explained the buying process at Tischer. After narrowing our search down to either a 2011 BMW 335i or BMW 528i, we made an appointment with Andy to test drive both vehicles in February. We had seen on the website that they had several 528i loaner vehicles for sale and inquired about them. Andy helped us narrow down the exact vehicle and then he set up for a test drive the following Saturday. We arrived and the vehicle was not ready, because Andy was having the vehicle washed and cleaned for us, which was a very nice touch. He let us test drive the 2011 BMW 528i (Space Gray Metallic) on our own and we fell in love with the vehicle. The best part of all was the purchasing process. We had already arranged financing, but Joanna was determined to beat our rate of 3.20% and sure enough she got us a rate of 2.99%. Within a short time we were done with the purchase. Joanna explained all of the options available to us and there was no pressure for any add ons. The delivery went very well the following Monday, as Andy had the car detailed before we picked it up. He was very knowledgeable and explained all of the cars features answering all of our questions. Overall our buying experience was fantastic. More

Every person I have had contact with at Tischer has been courteous, informed and conveyed without directly saying so a feeling of caring for my well being and my total satisfaction. When searching the internet for a used BMW 750 I stumbled on BMW of Silver Spring. I contacted them via email and I got a prompt and courteous reply from the used car manager. He answered all the questions I asked of him and even offered bring the car to my home for a test drive! (I only live 15 minutes away) After being absolutely blown away, I had to decline that offer because I didn't want be "sold" on a car (bad past experiences with car salespeople.) Later that afternoon I stopped by and visited with the used car manager, he introduced me to one of the sales people there. They proceeded to show me other vehicles that were in my price range / search criteria. I settled on the car I inquired about since it was the "perfect" match for me! I can't believe this incredible experience I had, I'm still in shock that a car dealership could be so kind and wonderful! Thanks again guys and keep up the great work! More
