Seek him out if you are in the market for a new BMW, and persuade him not to join his son in Australia - his departure will be a loss to the car-buying public. From my initial contact over the telephone with him to the time I picked up the car, Mr. Joshi was friendly, professional and, perhaps most important, honest. Tischer's finance advisor also desrves a mention here. She was friendly, efficient, quick and to the point, a contrast to my experience some six months ago with the finance office of Lexus of Rockville. To sum up: a great experience and as my teenage son, who was with me commented - Joshi rocks! More
I went to Annapolis BMW first and could not get help from a single salesperson. I wandered the entire lot, wandered the whole showroom, made eye contact with several employees that were standing around chit a single salesperson. I take that back, one person on his way out asked if I needed help, I said yes, and he said he would find someone. 10 minutes later, still nothing, I left and drove to Tischer...where I got the EXACT SAME LACK OF TREATMENT. It was not busy at either dealership. It was a weekday afternoon. I will cut Tischer a little slack since there was obviously some sort of renovations going on, but still, you'd think they would be even more vigilant. I had wanted to drive a 335 as comparison to the Audi S4. After these two dealerships essentially blew me off, I just took it as a sign and went with the Audi. More

After buying a car last month from Tischer,I decided to have my 15K service here locally at BMW Fairfax.They kept my car 3 days and told me there was no problem with my tire which the IDRIVE kept telling m have my 15K service here locally at BMW Fairfax.They kept my car 3 days and told me there was no problem with my tire which the IDRIVE kept telling me was underinflated.I was told that filling the tires with Nitrogen(at my cost)would fix the problem.After going to a tire store,who found an irreparable inner puncture I went back to Tischer.Rick Lopez(CPO mgr) had the tire replaced while I waited at no cost to me.Needless to say,the drive to Tischer for future service is well worth it to me.Rick was very professional and has offered to exchange cars with me at my home so I can avoid the drive for future service. This is a return visit to this dealership after 11 years (purchased a new 528i in 1999). We were greeted by a friendly gentleman (Dave?) who opened the door for us with a welcoming smile. After some initial browsing, we were greeted by Sigis Skirpa who introduced himself and asked if he could assist us. After listening to what we were looking for, he quickly scanned his inventory and found 2 vehicles that matched. Sigis worked quickly to get us into one of the vehicles for a test drive. He explained the features and benefits before we started the test drive. He provided some context and contrast with my older 528, with the new 328i xdrive. His knowledge of the product was excellent and the drive convinced me to pursue getting an offer for the car. Sigis drafted a quote with the sales manager and presented it. I found the price to be fair and Sigis explained the discount and incentives associated with the deal. After some internet research, we returned the next day to finalize the purchase and to see if Sigis would include a trade-in as part of the deal. Sigis quickly arranged for the appraiser to look over the trade-in and again provided a reasonable trade-in value. After I explained the offer I had from Car-Max, Sigis sought approval from the sales manager to match the deal. Sigis exceeded my expectations as a sales associate. He matched my desires for a car perfectly and I'm now the proud owner of a brand new 328i all-wheel drive BMW. While waiting to close out the deal, I asked Sigis if it was possible to secure an extra key for my older 99 528i. He walked me over to the Service department, where I was greeted by friendly and courteous staff. The staff ordered the key and I paid for it under 10 minutes. Closing out the deal with the Business Manager, Joanna McCarthy, was quick and painless. Joanna explained the dealer add-ons, and provided advice on which packages made the most sense given our personal situation. Joanna was friendly and organized. This made closing out the deal effortless. The price of a BMW is a bit more than their competition, in my honest opinion, hence the good rating on the price. However, it really is the Ultimate Driving Machine and the folks at Tischer BMW of Silver Spring are the reasons I choose this car over the Audi A4. I highly recommend a visit to this dealership if you are interested in a purchasing a new car. More

I highly recommend purchasing a car from Tischer as the service and quality of cars are excellent. I felt no pressure to buy from them and was able to find the right car with the low amount of miles that service and quality of cars are excellent. They delivered a very clean car that was near flawless even though the car is 9 years old. I'm pleased with Jacob's ability to disclose everything about the car, (carfax, service history, etc...) The only drawback that I experienced was the amount of time to accomplish the financing. Even though I was prepared to pay in cash, I had to wait nearly 2 hours for the finance department to arrange it. Perhaps part of the wait was there system problems with the applications used but I was able to buy the car and that is the important thing that happened. Upon purchase, he took me slowly over every feature of the car prior to me leaving the lot with my brand new baby girl. I also would like to express my sincerest gratitude towards their Finance Manager – Anthony Lucas for doing an exceptional job of not only explaining our financing options but also his MOST welcoming and friendly demeanor that put us so at ease during the process. We never felt pressured but had enough info to make and informded consumer's decision. It was apparent that his expertise and knowledge were much more advanced than what is normally expected from a car dealership financing professional. What a great guy! The certified pre-used car I purchased was in mint condition and could have been a brand new model based on how pristine clean it was. Evidently they have an AMAZING Detiailing Department. More

He was responsive, and worked to speed the process along as much as possible. He showed me a 2008 528i that was perfect for me. We proceeded with the purchase agreement, and again, he was polite, responsive, and as flexible as he could be. After the purchase, he showed me around the car, and explained many of the key features. He offered his time to help answer any questions I might have in the future.
