Recently I was in the market for a reliable pre-owned car and contacted Tischer BMW via phone. I was promptly greeted by Kailash Joshi. He recommended a very nice car that suited my family needs. When I arrived for my appointment at Tischer, Kailash had the car ready for me to look at and it was nice and clean. We test drove, I loved the car and went through the process of purchasing it. The price was good, the financing was good and above all, I was treated with respect and friendliness. Both Kailash and his manager (Rick Lopez) were very patient with me. I did not feel rushed at all. The Business Manager Joanna was also very helpful and explained all the options to me patiently. Overall, this was an exceller car buying experice. I am more than convinced that Tischer BMW is the best place to buy cars and that Kailash and Rick are the right people to deal with. His demeanor over the phone was fantastic and he made sure that I was fully informed about the the vehicle i wanted online and contacted Rick Lopez. Once I decided to move forward, he put me in touch with one of his associates who collected all the info they needed for the transaction before I made the trip down. When I arrived, it was very seamless. We sent over the vehicle while we waited for finance and the finance process was quick and seamless. I am now a happy new owner of a 335 convertible and will recommend Tischer to any of my friends and family in the future! More

Living in Central PA we found limited choices for a BMW 330ci convertible that met our requirements, so we expanded our search to Maryland. After a horrible experience with another MD dealership and 4 hours of wasted driving through strong storms to see a vehicle far from its promised condition, we were reluctant to rely on a salesman’s representation of the vehicle he was trying to sell on the internet. When I first got a return call from Kailash, my reluctance (and even some distrust) was still present, despite Kailash’s assurances that the vehicle as presented online was everything they said it was and more. Kailash sounded honest enough and convinced me to take another 2 hour trip to see the vehicle I was assured met my high expectations. When we arrived, my doubts were erased completely, and we found a vehicle as good if not better than promised. The dealership took pride in presenting a quality vehicle for sale, including four new tires, new brake service and performing the latest scheduled maintenance. Needless to say, we purchased the vehicle there on the spot, and drove it back to PA feeling very satisfied. The sales team was very friendly, personable, and even left us with departing hugs. Follow up from Kailash has also been above expectations. We needed one rear floor mat for the vehicle, and Kailash sent us a full brand new set. We couldn’t be happier with our new convertible, and with the people of Tischer BMW of Silver Spring. I contacted this dealer about a specific car located at another dealer. They were able to locate the car I requested and gave me a good price through e-mail. I thought that they confirmed that they were able to get this car while I was still there. This was on Tuesday. Thursday comes around and I am told that another person bought this car from the dealer that the car was located at and they never actually secured the car. In addition to this, I found out that this car was equipped with an extra $4,000 dollars worth of options that they didn't know about, so they would not have been able to sell me this car at the negotiated price anyway. You can imagine, I was very excited about this deal. This is my first car purchase and I found exactly what I wanted for a great price, but then was let down in the end. The dealership was friendly enough, but they couldn't deliver on the car I placed a deposit on. They couldn't offer me anything else similar without me having to pay a higher interest rate and a few thousand dollars more. More

The original sales person I spoke with left the dealership but a manager followed up a few weeks later to see if I was still interested; he wanted additional information on what type of vehicle I was looking for. I provided more detail and he followed up a few days later when a vehicle arrived which he thought I might be interested in -- he also provide the name of a sales person for me to work with. Bottom line - the overall experience was good, the salesman was excellent and I have a new car. More

Their documentation on the vehicle's history (not just CARFAX, actual complete maintenance history) was thorough and were transparent. He was also very helpful in working with me to get the BMW financing. Overall it was a pleasant car buying experience the way all dealerships should work ideally.
