I just purchased a CPO 3-series at Tischer BMW and had an excellent experience dealing with Kevin Hemmis and the Tischer team. Kevin was professional and customer focused from the initial emails that we traded on the inventory that I was interested in purchasing. He was avaiable for an appointment when it was convenient for me and was prepared with extremely detailed packets on both cars. We negotiated via email for about a week and was never too aggressive, pushy, or misleading. The final sale process with him and the finance team was also customer focused and efficient. After dealing with several sales people and dealerships in Baltimore, I would highly reccommend Kevin Hemmis and Tischer. It's worth the drive from Baltimore or elsewhere. I was ready to pull the trigger on a new VW GTI until a friend of mine called and suggested I check out this car while I was in the area for a PE exam. I checked the listing and was intrigued by the car, its mileage, and attractive price. I called up Tischer one day before my PE and ask for a test drive. Kailash Joshi and Mike Bolgar promptly returned my call and out I was at the dealership. The car was in great condition, everything looked brandnew and I enjoyed the test drive and additional information about the car I didn't know of from Kailash. There was one glitch to the pricing as the certification wasn't included in the internet price. I was disappointed at first but the admitted the mistake and was willing to work with me on the price to my satisfaction and I purchased the car. I highly recommend Kailash Joshi for his straightforward approach and his willingness to make your purchase a pleasant one and Tischer BMW for your next BMW purchase. On a separate note (the numerical rating above don't reflect this),the purchasing experience was great with Joanna at the Finance dept. However, a week after the purchase, I received a declining letter for my financing of the car. I was out of state then and called about 10 times from 9am-3pm on a Wednesday afernoon to get a glimpse of what's going on and had to wait 6 hours for a finance person to return my call, citing he was "busying with other customers". The issue turned out to be a mistake on their part as the finance went through ok. I feel there is a room for improvement on this (aftersale services) and I hope Tischer does something to fix it. I am a repeat customer. I wanted to order a 2010 135 and began shopping price. The pricing was quickly received, however BMW stopped accepting 2010 orders. Brian was the first to notify me that 2011 orders where being accepted, priced the car lower than the others and just continued to be on top of my account even weeks after the car was delivered. Not only did Joe display technical savvy, his professional and empathy demeanor made this unfortunate situation less stressful.
