Terrible experience Extremely disappointing and aggravating experience with this dealership. It's been a two-month battle with them and they only care for the money they Extremely disappointing and aggravating experience with this dealership. It's been a two-month battle with them and they only care for the money they can make from you and completely ignore the customer's experience, satisfaction or you even returning to their dealership in the future. These are simple business practices any business should follow. Two months ago, I went in for a CPO vehicle. I test drove it and was happy with it. My only concern was a cigarette smell in the vehicle but the salesman assured me that he would get rid of it while we do the paperwork through a special smoke bomb they use to get rid of the smell. After the paperwork was complete, he returned the car to me with the same smell. He said the detailers left for the day and forgot to do it but to bring it back later in the week so they can do it. As the week went by, the smell persisted. I brought the car back to them within the week. By then, my asthma had been flared due to the smell. They did the smoke bomb which was pretty much just spraying minty cologne in the entire car. It was temporary fix and only masked the smell for a couple of days which triggered my asthma even morso due to the combination of now a cigarette and mint odor. Fast forward to today, I've taken the car in 5 different times and they've used all types of techniques possible. I've even left the car there for days at a time. After the 5th visit (last week), one of the dealerships manager,Vinny, gave me the great news that his manager approved for the dealership to take back my vehicle. I told them I'd be purchasing a more expensive car from them for this, as a token of appreciation. Well, low and behold, them "approving" the trade-in of my vehicle means they were just buying it back from me for $6,000 less because of the "negative equity". I had to figure this out when I was working out a new deal with the salesman. The numbers weren't adding up. So it wasn't even explicitly explained to me. They were sneaking it into the deal in hopes I wouldn't figure it out. So, not only do they want to give me less money for a cigarette-smelling vehicle they sold me 2 months ago, but they also want to profit from my new purchase. I then called BMW North America and filed a complaint. After reviewing my case, they said there's nothing they can do. It's upto the dealership. This is absurd, unfair and a nightmare of an experience. I'm left with no choice but to try and sell my vehicle to another dealership because I can't drive the car without the windows being down because my asthma flares up every single time I get in the car. I've been Ubering and borrowing cars because again, I have a hard time breathing in my car. I've explained all of this to Vinny but he didn't seem to care very much and take responsibility for selling me a car that should've never been sold. I refuse to give this dealership any potential business. Despite reading all the negative reviews on Yelp, I chose this BMW Tenafly because of a recommendation from someone I trust. This is my 4th BMW in 7 years and I'm extremely disappointed in the service of this dealership and BMW Corp. as a whole. It is unbelievable that BMW didn't step up to the plate and help me after filing a complaint. All I want is for them to buy back my vehicle for the same price they sold it to me for. I should not have to pay an extra penny for this car. P.S. I will update this review if it gets resolved More

Arrived on a Saturday to see a CPO vehicle I found online that had just arrived, and although it was getting serviced & detailed the salesman I worked with called me that Monday from inside the vehicle detailing honestly what features were included and not included. Returned late Tuesday afternoon and traded on my car vehicle for the CPO, leaving that night with my new BMW 4 series. Manny Ferreira took care of my purchase, even helping us search other dealerships and rule out vehicles that had actually been dishonestly listed as CPO's by other dealerships in the NJ-NY area. He stayed way past closing (930pm) in order to finalize our deal that night so I could drive home with the car. Overall outstanding job by the staff and a great touch by BMW with the new electronic desk document signer that I was one of the first to use. Would definitely buy again from BMW Tenafly and Manny Ferriera! More

There was zero pressure during this experience and he is thorough enough to highlight and explain each of the charges for your purchase. He walked me and my husband through various financing scenarios to ensure we stayed within a comfortable budget without going over. This is important working with someone that understands the need of each individual client rather than a high sales pitch. My husband and I are so happy that Stef was our Client Advisor and will happily recommend him if you’re looking for a pleasureable car buying experience. Also, we were just as pleased with the finance advisor Chris Pak as he was able to explain the benefits of purchasing the extended maintenance plan.
