Extraordinarily poor experience Purchased a new X5 diesel. Worst buying experience I've experienced in the past many - many years. Last 2 SUV's were Mercedes. Mercedes discontinued t Purchased a new X5 diesel. Worst buying experience I've experienced in the past many - many years. Last 2 SUV's were Mercedes. Mercedes discontinued the diesel so went BMW. Sales person ok and fairly knowledgeable. Downhill from there. Committed to purchase then spent THREE FULL HOURS waiting to pay and close the deal. Never an offer as so much as a cup of coffee while waiting. Pushiest lady I've ever experienced while signing papers. Wanted to sell additional maintenance programs and simply wouldn't take no as an answer. Bought a trailer hitch - $2045!! - and it's the oddest thing I've ever seen - and no one helping us had any idea how it was to be installed. As a follow up- not so much as a thank you note. Mercedes always sent gift boxes, photos and thank you notes. Daughter today showed me how her Lexus dealer thanked her. Wow!! Kuni? Not so much as a text 'thank you'. Worst dealer we've ever dealt with. BTW. Dealer returned our old veteran plates w/o so much as wiping them. Only then found BMW offers no front mount. Sales person offered Kuni would install a mount - we needed only to drive 75 miles one way for them to do so. Why - in Oregon where a front plate is required - doesn't Kuni install the fron mount with every delivery? More
