Hi "Johnnysacks1977", your experience is unfortunate, but not typical. We do have a generous supply of loaner cars - but they are normally reserved for customers who bring in their vehicles for overnight warranty work. They are usually scheduled with appointments in advance. We would have to have an infinite fleet of loaners on hand if we just gave them out for folks who show up and demand them. Baker has been serving the community since 1967 whose doors would have been closed years ago if we operated in a manner as you describe. Since you choose to remain anonymous, there is no way I can really verify any of your issues or respond to your character assassination of our valued staff member, Tracy Lambert. If she made a recommendation it was solely to keep your vehicle safe and maintained. Unless your third party mechanic is a factory trained and certified FCA technician, his opinion is irrelevant. You are invited to call 609.921.2222 to discuss this in detail. Maybe it's all just some kind of misunderstanding?

Baker Jeep is blanketed with CCTV. We have cameras everywhere. We have reviewed all the video and see nothing - repeat - nothing to substantiate your claim. If you had run over a screw or a bolt or some kind of car related part, that would at least be plausible. Where would you find a nail and splash shield as you describe on our lot? Our building is over 60 years old and made of concrete and brick. We have a flat roof. No nails. No splash shield. If you're going to invent a story at least make it believable. It's our contention that you got a flat tire somewhere else and devised this prevarication to extort a new tire from Baker Jeep. Did you bring the tire here to be plugged? Nope. You now feel that we're responsible for getting you a new tire, but yet had no problem taking the tire somewhere else and paying someone else to try fix it for you. Like the tire itself, no part of your story holds air.

We truly appreciate your loyalty and thank you for taking the time to tell the world. If you think about a service department and fixing or maintaining your car as it gets older - from a personal point of view - it's as rewarding as getting a new roof on your house. And if you think about social media, most people use it as a forum to bash a service department. Baker Jeep has an excellent Service Team and when they do a great job it's like getting that new roof, you're glad it's done but it's nothing you'd necessarily feel like crowing about.
