I recently purchased a 2025 Ford Bronco from Bates Ford, and I can’t say enough about how great the experience was with Scott Dickens. Having worked in automotive sales myself, I usually walk into a dealers and I can’t say enough about how great the experience was with Scott Dickens. Having worked in automotive sales myself, I usually walk into a dealership very direct, well-researched, and only when I’m ready to make a deal. Because of that, I hold pretty high expectations. From the very start, Scott exceeded them. Unlike another Ford dealership I visited in Clarksville, Scott greeted my wife and me warmly and genuinely. He immediately grabbed the keys for multiple Bronco trims and colors I was interested in, making sure we could take our time and see exactly what fit our needs. As someone who’s been in sales, I appreciated how he asked all the right questions—focused on ensuring we got what we truly wanted while still moving the process forward efficiently. We ultimately landed on a black Bronco that had just arrived on the lot and hadn’t even been PDI’d yet. Scott apologized that it wasn’t cleaned up yet, but that didn’t bother us at all—it showed how new the vehicle really was. In fact, Scott’s first impression was so strong that while he was grabbing the keys, my wife said, “We’re buying from Scott today.” Scott kept the experience enjoyable, sharing stories and making us feel completely comfortable throughout the process. When it came time to work the numbers, both Scott and Joey, the manager, were open, transparent, and professional. No games, just honesty and respect. At the end of the day, it was the best dealership experience we’ve ever had. I’ll be recommending Scott and Bates Ford to everyone I know. The 30-minute drive from Nashville was absolutely worth it, and I wouldn’t hesitate to make the trip again. More

There seems to be a higher standard among Bates Ford as compared to Two Rivers in Mt Juliet which is a closer location to us but the service we got there was very negative compared to Bates. Bates is court compared to Two Rivers in Mt Juliet which is a closer location to us but the service we got there was very negative compared to Bates. Bates is courteous, and don't mind helping and concerned about the customers happiness. Thank you so much Bates!! I just wish we were on the mileage range for pick up and delivery as we are elderly and sometimes don't feel like or unable to get the Edge in to the shop. More

Bates always did the maintenance on my 2016 Mustang (Roush). It had a misfire and I took it there. After countless trips, I was told that I needed a new engine (73,000 miles)!!! After spending anoth (Roush). It had a misfire and I took it there. After countless trips, I was told that I needed a new engine (73,000 miles)!!! After spending another $8,000 for a new engine (they credited me for the prior repair work), I was thinking it was good. After taking it back a couple more times for the same problem, I was told by Paul that the mechanic said it needed to be tested by a Roush dealer for a "code". I then drove it to Reddick/Brown Ford in Morrison, TN. It was determined to be the cold air intake the whole time. So, this part was taken off the original engine and put on the new engine. I did NOT need an engine replacement!!!!! I am very upset and will never step foot back in that dealership. If you are smart, take your vehicle somewhere else. More
