I purchased my f150 lariat from Bates. Tommy Shorter. I have been very pleased with it! I recently needed a new water pump. I’m very pleased with the workmanship. Went in on 11/12/25 to get my oil changed and the service rep said I needed rear brake pads replaced which I agreed to do. I was quoted a price at the time I agreed to have the work done. When I went to the cashier to pay, I was charged over $50 more than what was quoted. They said it was b/c of “shop supplies”. I have no issue but given the fact that they charged me $430 for an oil change and rear break pads, I feel that this should have been mentioned prior to me agreeing to have the work done. Also, $199 for 30 minutes worth of labor is a little ridiculous in my opinion. Although I appreciate the work auto mechanics do, replacing brake pads is not open heart surgery. More

I recently purchased a 2025 Ford Bronco from Bates Ford, and I can’t say enough about how great the experience was with Scott Dickens. Having worked in automotive sales myself, I usually walk into a dealers and I can’t say enough about how great the experience was with Scott Dickens. Having worked in automotive sales myself, I usually walk into a dealership very direct, well-researched, and only when I’m ready to make a deal. Because of that, I hold pretty high expectations. From the very start, Scott exceeded them. Unlike another Ford dealership I visited in Clarksville, Scott greeted my wife and me warmly and genuinely. He immediately grabbed the keys for multiple Bronco trims and colors I was interested in, making sure we could take our time and see exactly what fit our needs. As someone who’s been in sales, I appreciated how he asked all the right questions—focused on ensuring we got what we truly wanted while still moving the process forward efficiently. We ultimately landed on a black Bronco that had just arrived on the lot and hadn’t even been PDI’d yet. Scott apologized that it wasn’t cleaned up yet, but that didn’t bother us at all—it showed how new the vehicle really was. In fact, Scott’s first impression was so strong that while he was grabbing the keys, my wife said, “We’re buying from Scott today.” Scott kept the experience enjoyable, sharing stories and making us feel completely comfortable throughout the process. When it came time to work the numbers, both Scott and Joey, the manager, were open, transparent, and professional. No games, just honesty and respect. At the end of the day, it was the best dealership experience we’ve ever had. I’ll be recommending Scott and Bates Ford to everyone I know. The 30-minute drive from Nashville was absolutely worth it, and I wouldn’t hesitate to make the trip again. More

There seems to be a higher standard among Bates Ford as compared to Two Rivers in Mt Juliet which is a closer location to us but the service we got there was very negative compared to Bates. Bates is courteous, and don't mind helping and concerned about the customers happiness. Thank you so much Bates!! I just wish we were on the mileage range for pick up and delivery as we are elderly and sometimes don't feel like or unable to get the Edge in to the shop. More
