Lack of customer service skills I drove from Thomasville, GA to Columbia, KY to buy a 2016 Ford F-350 King Ranch Diesel Dually from Don Franklin Ford (awesome experience) and about a I drove from Thomasville, GA to Columbia, KY to buy a 2016 Ford F-350 King Ranch Diesel Dually from Don Franklin Ford (awesome experience) and about an hour after leaving the dealership the engine light came on. I called my salesman and he asked me to take it to the nearest Ford dealer and have them run a diagnostic and get the error code and we would go from there. I went to Bates Ford and opened the service department door and was greeted by a gentleman and I could tell he wasn't happy to see me. I asked if they had heard from Don at the other dealership and he said he hadn't heard from anyone, but what did I want. I started by explaining I had just purchased the truck and was headed back home to Thomasville and when I said I had a dually, he kind of snickered and said no way with a diesel, it would be Monday before he could touch it. He was kind enough to let me know there was another dealer about 15 miles up the road. I got on my GPS and the Lord lead me to Murfreesboro Ford and my salesman called and an Angel named Kayla told him to send me right over and would be glad to help. I got there gave her a hug and told her she didn't know how much this meant to me, that I still had to go to Dunlap Family RV in Lebanon, TN and pick up my new 5th wheel and head back to Thomasville. She had my truck pulled in and in about 30 minutes the Service Manager came to me and fully explained the reason the engine light came on and they cleared the code and I was ready to go. I rarely if ever provide reviews, negative or positive, but I felt strong that I didn't want others to be treated the way I was at Bates, when there is an AWESOME, INCREDIBLE dealership, just 30 minutes away. I recommend Kayla, but as a business owner myself for over 35 years, I can tell you it is clearly the culture, so I am confident, you will receive the same treatment from anyone at Murfreesboro Ford. More

Mike and his team bent over backwards to help with the delivery and subsequent minor damage repair, that none of us were aware of at the time of delivery. I found this truck online at about 9pm one evening, and sent an email asking about its availability. Early the next morning Mike called me and within a half hour, I owned the perfect vehicle for my carpentry Repair business.
