I am satisfied with the Service Department. Have been with this dealership since 2003, when I purchased my first Forester from them. Purchased another in 2015, and have recommended Subaru Foresters to m with this dealership since 2003, when I purchased my first Forester from them. Last summer, I directed a friend to Bay Ridge from Long Island, because the model she wanted was not available in her area. I called Bay Ridge, they had what she wanted, and I picked her up in Long Island and delivered her to her car in Brooklyn. No acknowledgement from the dealership for the referral. Late winter, I brought my daughter there and she purchased a used Forester from the dealership. That purchase experience did not go well. Car wasn't ready, paperwork wasn't ready when it was supposed to be, and again, no word of thanks for the referral. No amount of corporate advertising will undo this lack of manners. Also, your method of mailing coupons doesn't work for me. I have about ten of them. I forget. This time, I inserted "coupon" on the on-line appointment, and it was overlooked. Next time I will have another coupon. When you have a regular customer, you should attend to the discount. I am not bringing my car there because of a coupon, but as a courtesy you should apply the discount. That would be a pleasant experience at checkout. There has got to be a better way. I like the service you provide, everyone there is genial, but I am getting the feeling you really don't need my business. Not good. More
Everyone was so hospitable during my wait. I forgot my charger and asked they let me borrow one. The waiting room was also comfortable and the coffee was great.
