We told the technician what is sounded like and where the sound was coming from. They were able to take a look and found a band that snapped and a bolt/clamp that broke. They fixed it, gave me an oil change, did the inspection, and reassured me the scraping sound is probably some rusting around the brake rotors (I think this is it, sorry, I'm not well versed with cars, but I'm pretty sure that's what it was) and that it would go away with more driving. Everyone was professional and my questions were answered. More

wrong part ordered I recently went to Bay Ridge Subaru for multiple services on my 2018 Crosstrek that I intentionally scheduled for the same visit - the 36k mile routin I recently went to Bay Ridge Subaru for multiple services on my 2018 Crosstrek that I intentionally scheduled for the same visit - the 36k mile routine maintenance, a recall repair, and a warranty repair (replacement of USB input hardware) that was necessary for performing the recall reprogram. The Bay Ridge service department had caught the problem with the USB last time I was in for the recall repair and they told me they ordered the necessary part. After completing the routine maintenance, the service employee informed me that they had ordered the wrong part for the USB repair and that I'd have to schedule another trip in. The service department offered me a free oil change in recognition of the inconvenience - good customer service is the reason that I will keep coming back! More
