I took my vehicle to Bayside for a brake problem I was having. The rep, Sebastian, was very helpful in keeping me updated on the diagnostics, the need to order parts and when my vehicle would be ready. Al having. Our 1st experience in the dealership was not pleasant, we were told the the car we are looking for is in the 35-40 thousand range. After leaving I found 2 options online, called back to check availability an were told the the car we are looking for is in the 35-40 thousand range. Let me start by noting, a 5.0 would mean everything was perfect after service... It there’s no option for 4.5 that is my rating. Long details short? I came in for service for 1. Look at the brakes... perfect after service... It there’s no option for 4.5 that is my rating. Long details short? I came in for service for 1. Look at the brakes... not feeling confident in them 2. Check on the tire pressure sensor - air is STILL escaping from the tire at 10lbs a week ... I’m hearing the air come out myself. 3. Fix sqeaky dashboard.... everything squeaks terribly 4. Spilled fluid smell emanating from under hood into cabin once I stop the car. Result: 1. Replaced all brake pads and rotates. Outstanding result! Noises gone, feels reliable again. 2. Outstanding result- no loss of air since service yet! I do wonder why it took so long to identify this issue when I’ve brought the car in suggesting it has a leak several times from the first year of ownership... ever polished the wheels, changed tires, rebalanced... and still same problem... till now. No matter... it’s perfect now. 3. good job! 85% of the squeaks gone... the last 15% ... seems MORE squealky than before... but that’s problay because it’s the ONLY section that squeaks ... before EVERY PART of the dashboard did. 4. FAIL - I’m not sure if anything was done to address this. I suggested pressure testing all the valves... maybe they tried, or didn’t have time to try? Smell remains.. no change in problem. Like I said, 5.0 suggests everything was “perfect”. It wasn’t... but, in all honesty, it was close enough to restore confidence to risk upgrades I’d been putting off due to lack of confidence. So, upgrades, here we come... start w something simple and see how it goes More
