Terrible. Gives mechanics a bad name. My car was having a rear axel noise and I brought it in to Chrysler. It took them 3 days to take my car into the shop and diagnose it. They said that they guarantee that changing the shock absorber will stop the noise but it was still there. They tried to keep my car for many days which didn't allow me to work. I bought my own parts and fixed it at a different mechanic and the noise was gone. How are these mechanic well trained when they can't even fix my car. My passenger door was also scratched. I told the front desk worker, Sheng, about the scratches and he didn't apologize or anything. He told me to send the car in to fix the scratch but how long will they keep my car again? More

Instead of contacting me to inform me what there findings were and quote me a price to fix it, as is policy, they take it upon themselves to fix it. I was so desperate to get my car back, I paid, what I believe was an unfair price, to just to end this nightmare. The problem was that the horn wasn't working and the dealer blamed the after market alarm. I brought along my alarm installer, who swears he did it correctly to talk shop with the mechanic and explain how he installed it correctly. Supervisor said no to that request. After being supposedly fixed, I test the horn and find it doesn't honk when the car is turned off. Service supervisor told me that is how it works. Silly me, I take his word for it. It didn't sound right to me, so I did some research and actually went to check out other 2014 Dodge Grand Caravans and lo and behold, the horn honks when parked and turned off. I went to the dealership and spoke to Bob. He said he thought that's the way the horn was supposed to work. He obviously makes stuff up as he goes along. He then said he fixed it halfway and that was good enough. His last statement floored me. He said it was the alarm installers fault and that I should take it to him to fix. I paid for this repair to be done correctly and completely, regardless of how the horn was damaged. This has been a complete nightmare and injustice and I will not stop until I receive a complete refund for work not completed yet paid for. I found other customers who were very dissatisfied, just stand in front of the service door and ask the customers coming in and going out. Sometime during our discussion, Bob offered to return the money I spent on the repair. He told me to come several days later, but Bob's word is worthless to me, based on my experiences with him. I'm hoping someone in authority and competent will read this and help me resolve this injustice. More
All's Well That Ends Well The area around the dealer is very good for a test drive. You can drive on local streets and on the expressway to get a true feel for your vehicle. The negotiations were a little rough at first but "All's Well That Ends Well..." we were able to work out a deal at the end. I believe this should be expected of any car dealer as both the seller and the buyer are trying to get the best deal. Terry was the sales person, Rob was the manager, and Leo and Reggie where the finance guys. The employees at Bayside was attentive and personable. I would recommend that if you are going to buy a car from anywhere you do your research. If you do not know what you want, go and test drive the vehicles. Make your decision with your head and do not let your emotions get involved. Then go online research the vehicle. Look at what are actual options, and see what comes with the different packages which are offered. Educate yourself before walking in. Ask questions. With that said I did visit other Jeep dealers in NYC and Westchester. Will follow up with reviews on the service department when used in the coming months. More

This has been since last year, Not sure what the heck happened, but I left and my car does not have any heat (yes I said heat in the middle of June). I went because the steering wheel was shaking as I drove past 60 miles per hr. Bottom line - I waited 5 hrs and felt like the car did not receive the proper full service that I thought you get - the basic, check my oil, antifreeze, washer fluid, etc., I felt I did not get. Please note I have been to this dealer several times and this is the first time I have to write a less than perfect review. More

My first experience buying a car they treated me like a person nobody looked down at me like the other dealerships has done. They have worked with me until the very end and they were not satisfied until I was satisfied. They stood true to they word when they offered me deals and they threw in some extra stuff. They had the vehicle I wanted right on the lot when the other dealers didn't have it. I drove away with my ne jeep having only 3 miles on it. I love it and my coworkers love it just as well. For this to be my first American car I am having a lot of fun with it and glad I have made the final choice of buying it and buying it from Bayside. I would recommend anyone that I know if they are looking for a jeep to go to Bayside first so they won't get disappointed like I did from the other Jeep Dealers. More

I did a trade in on both purchases and Bayside was very fair on the trade in values. The first visit I walk in and drove out within a few hours with a new vehicle. This time I made it a little harder on them and wanted a specific type of Jeep, the Cherokee Altitude with certain colors and features. The next day Bayside called me and the vehicle was already transferred and at their location. It had more than I expected but the dealership held to our bargain and the deal was done. From the receptionist, salesman, sales manager to finance they were friendly and helpful. I even received phone calls a few days later to see how everything is going. This is the place to go for your vehicle purchases.. More
