I purchased a chevy truck approximately 15 years ago for our oldest son. I believe Andy was only with Bennett for approximately a few weeks or a month at the most. He was not the salesman that most people dread running into with all sorts of pushy sales tacticts. My son at the age of 17 said after we got home that day that Andy had told him if he had a problem with his car to contact him personally and he would assist him and even lend him his personal car if needed. At 17 you believe everything people say. Well turned out the transmission had a defect and needed to be replaced. The first thing my son said was "I'm gonna call Andy and use his car"! Needless to say that wasn't necessary. My son went on to purchase 2 more chevy vehicles from Andy and is still driving one today. Each experience was just as pleasant as the first. When it came time to buy our vehicle just the other day, we figured 15 years would have given Andy the time to get the "car salesman" pushy personality. Pleasantly he was just the same as he was 15 years ago which is why we bought the first car we test drove. Yasmin assisted us with our paperwork. Bennett Chev./ Steve Kearns did an overall good job during the purchase of my GM certified Chev. Malibu. Vehicle was in very good shape, although with a little more effort on behalf of their service st during the purchase of my GM certified Chev. Malibu. Vehicle was in very good shape, although with a little more effort on behalf of their service staff, several minor scratches and dings could have been corrected and the vehicle would have been exceptional. When these flaws were brought to their attention, the managers solution was to give me a little more on my trade, but indicated they would not do anymore work to correct the vehicles flaws. Vehicles initial asking price was somewhat higher than comparably equipped vehicles at other dealers, but the generous minimum trade allowance of $6,000.00 offset this higher price. Staff was friendly and efficient and with the exception of the issue described above, the only other flaw was in the detailing before delivery which was only ok. Vehicle still some dirty on the exterior around wheel wells and in trunk lid channel area that wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Finally, this was the first vehicle I ever bought from a dealership where they didn't fill it up with fuel prior delivery. Overall the experience was good, but not exceptional. More
