Going the extra mile on customer satisfaction Every other time I have had my car serviced at Berglund everything has gone without a glitch. This time is different. Beginning with bringing my ca Every other time I have had my car serviced at Berglund everything has gone without a glitch. This time is different. Beginning with bringing my car in for service, I needed a ride home. Usually, the shuttle driver is available within a reasonable wait or the service advisor has a loaner car reserved knowing the service will require more than a day to complete. This time I brought the car in the afternoon before the scheduled service date and requested a ride home. For some unknown reason to me the shuttle driver was not able to take me home and there was no loaner car available for my use. However, Tammy Niles reported this dilemma to Tom Sloan who immediately dropped what he was doing and took me home. I expected that my service would be completed the next day as I had scheduled this service well in advance. However, about the middle of the afternoon of the day of service Kyle Schroers called me to say they were unable to get to my service need which was a factory recall replacement and asked if I could leave the car overnight again. I agreed. The following day Kyle called to say the service had been completed and asked if he could send the shuttle driver to get me. I asked that the shuttle driver call me when he was on his way so I could be ready when he arrived. Cecil, the shuttle driver called, said he could be at my home in about 10 minutes. He was prompt to just about the minute! He was very pleasant and cheerful in bringing me to the service center. Tammy Niles processed my paperwork almost as soon as I stepped into the office area. She already had someone bring my vehicle to the door and the gentleman who brought it handed me my keys as I was ready to leave. So far as I can tell, the recall service was done satisfactorily. I won’t know for sure until I’ve driven the vehicle a bit longer than the short ride home! More
