Recommend Process Changes - 2018 Volvo Hybrid XC90 - A number of process issues caused you folks to have our car for 8 full calendar days. 1. Appt: When we called to ask about making an appt. we were A number of process issues caused you folks to have our car for 8 full calendar days. 1. Appt: When we called to ask about making an appt. we were told to just drop it off. We should have had an appt. and now have Tim's number for future service. 2. Diagnose car right away. We dropped off the car Thursday at 10 AM. The first time someone diagnosed the car was Friday at 4 PM. A part needed to be ordered from NJ. We were told with upcoming storm/3 day weekend, car might be ready Tuesday AM. 3. Keep customer in loop. On Weds AM we called to affirm that we could pick up the car Weds. PM. Turns out it was not ready because you only have one mechanic who can work on hybrids. We could have used texts on the process. We waited and waited to make the trip into Roanoke. 4. Loaner: We had to ask for a loaner on Weds, rather than being offered one, even though you had already had the car a full week. 5. Only one hybrid mechanic -- We received call late Thursday that car could be picked up. We picked it up Friday. It is fine. But, gee whiz! So, I can give you 5 stars for quality of work, Tim's courteous demeanor, etc., but Time was a huge problem. Overall, this was a very inconvenient experience for us. More

The service appointment was relatively quick and Jeremy gave me a comprehensive write-up as to what possible service I may need in the upcoming months. Added bonus was finding my car had been washed, too! More

Vehicle held hostage Service has ALWAYS been the weak link in the chain at this dealership going back to the previous ownership. I brought my vehicle in because of a check Service has ALWAYS been the weak link in the chain at this dealership going back to the previous ownership. I brought my vehicle in because of a check engine light and intermittent coolant light on. Picked-up and drove it for half a day, back to the shop because of steam and coolant smell coming from under the hood. Coolant light had come on in the previous few days and I have had consistent coolant related issues with my various Rovers.The vehicle stayed in the shop for a full week. While it was there, I received ZERO calls to explain the problem, the estimated time frame for repairs or at the very least to say "we're sorry for the inconvenience'. I guess the thought process was: "he paid us 4 grand for an extended warranty so the repairs won't cost him anything, therefore, we don't need to tell him anything". The vehicle I'm currently driving will be the last one I buy from this dealer. And, if you wonder why I have not filled-out complaints with service in the past, it's because I liked Scott and didn't want to cause trouble for him. More
