Purchased a certified used Scion iQ, although with less then 6000 miles the car is still new. Just so happen to go on their web site to look around, and low and behold this baby pops up. The color is perfect, and it had the options on it that really mattered to me. (and the price was just too sweet not to jump out early on this) I'm 57 so all the high tech info jive doesn't do nothing for me, i.e.satelite radio and although it does have blue-tooth connect, I'll never use it. The day I get a smart phone will be the day I realize I'm dumber then I thought,,,ha, ha. So saw it on Monday put a deposit on it and picked it up on Thursday. My sales rep. Anthony Lekas who Bruce Wood was kind enough to set me up with, which worked out good because he's a mature person like myself and I do better with the over something crowd, well, he came out to my place and picked me up took me back to the dealership to finalize the deal which was basically done over the phone so that it was all about an hour. Enough time left over to visit my town hall and get it registered and my plates. Now if some reading this wonder what the heck is a 57 year old doing in a Scion iQ,,,I'm a minimalist. (and it's one sweet machine if you understand it's principles) The older folk out there who have bough cars over the years can relate to this when I say it can be very disheartening and dreadful having to purchase a vehicle from a dealer. I can't say the industry has changed, but Berlin City Toyota/Scion may have changed the rules of the game.
