Terrible This is the sixth new vehicle that I have purchased and, by far, the worst experience. I was refused a test drive because I didn't have an appointmen This is the sixth new vehicle that I have purchased and, by far, the worst experience. I was refused a test drive because I didn't have an appointment. I arranged an appointment for a test drive and then was told that the car was not in stock when I arrived (despite being told to come take a drive half an hour earlier). I was never shown the exterior or interior colors in person (only on the web site). I decided to purchase despite the obstacles discussed above. The delivery of the vehicle has been a nightmare. The car arrived in port in a timely manner and I was told to pick it up five days later at the dealership. This was 30+ days ago and the car has still not been delivered. I have been given several conflicting excuses for the delay, but nothing that makes any sense. I was told that it was on a truck headed our way, but the truck broke down. A week later, I was told that it is being "processed" and can't be released to the trucking company (wasn't it supposedly on the truck a week ago?). Another week later, I was told that it needs a new part and they can't seem to locate the part - BMW can't locate a part for their own car!?! The delays are ridiculous and the conflicting excuses I have been told demonstrate some serious incompetence. This is the first and last vehicle I will purchase from Bert Smith BMW. More

I worked with William Stephens and he found the exact car that I wanted in Germany and it arrived within 2 weeks. Everything was completely straightforward and easy. Other dealers tried the "bait and switch" but I felt like William was just trying to get me the car that I wanted at the best (guaranteed by USAA) price. I love my new car! More

After a few days, i got the feeling i wasn't a "valued customer", and that they were not being 100% honest with me about prices.I did some research and wound up at Bert Smith, and it was a totally different experience! I was in a bit of a time crunch that day, and needed to be in and out with my new car in an hour and a half...and they did it! And with a much better price than my original dealer! I worked with William Stephens, and he was very nice and honest, not pushy at all. I had an awesome experience, and i recommend Bert Smith BMW and William Stephens to everyone! More

Our experience with Bert Smith started back when in 2006 we bought our first 2002 BMW 325CI convertible used. We purchased it through a wholesaler and used Bert Smith for our service issues and problems we might have occurred. They we very helpful and courtesy with great customer service. Due to that reason we decide to purchase the next BMW for Bert Smith. We will recommend Bert Smith to our Friend and family. More

Well, we are new to the area and tried two other dealerships, Ferman and Reeves. Well, Ferman rep was nice, just technically challenged. Felt like I was buying a car in the 70's. Reeves, well lets just say I will never go back. Thus we arrived at Bert Smith. Can't say enough good about this dealership. By the way, we are from up North and this is our 3rd & 4th BMW. We worked with two other dealers up North, so yeah, I know a good dealership when I see one. More

DAMAGED MY CAR PAINT This dealership chipped my new black 2014 BMW535i paint on the hood at three places and put a ding in my windshield. The detailing department also put huge swirl marks in the paint all over the car. Mr. Eric the service advisor and Mr. Stephen Williams the salesman were witness to this and since that day Mr. Butch the detailing manager was not available, I brought the car back the next day for him to see it and he then referred us to talk to Mr. Ron the general manager who then had us talk to Mr. Larry the CFO who then accused us of putting the ding in the windshield!!!! and refused to pay for getting it repaired!!!! There was no apology, no desire to maintain any dignity or decorum of what there detailing department stands for!!! I do not know what else can be done except I hope that this review warns other customers from using their service dept. which is where they make the bulk of their income. Unless their pocket book is not affected they will not change or improve their services because they have no moral code of conduct except making money. More
