Micah the Manager at Bettenhausen has treated me poorly as a consumer. He has also threatened me. I purchased a car Feb 16, 2022. Was also told that I had to put a down payment down to purchase the vehicl as a consumer. He has also threatened me. I purchased a car Feb 16, 2022. Was also told that I had to put a down payment down to purchase the vehicle Jan 5, 2022 which I did. But it is illegal; it's a violation of Consumer Law 15 USC 1662B. Purchased vehicle with Cash a check from Navy Federal bank. They called me two weeks later and said hey we need a new check. My creditor wasn't able to issue me a new check, they told me to tell Bettenhaussen of Orland park to fix their mistake and they will pay them out. Bettenhaussen called me and said your check is no good. It's your fault you need to apply for a new check and start the process over again. This is all over the phone. I let them know that the bank sent me a letter letting me know that the Bettenhaussen Fincan department messed up the check and didn't stamp it. Then Ryan the salemens called me stating that my check wasn't any good and I let him know that it was and that the bank sent me a letter. Then Micah called me yelling telling me that my check was no good. I need to start the process over and get a new check or he is going to take my car. He stated that he is calling the police. I told Micah that the bank sent me a letter and I can send it to him, Micah said send it to ryan I don't check my email. I did just that and didn't hear from Micah until 3 weeks later april 6,2022 threatening to call the police to take my car from a mistake your company made. Everything I did was legal. I will attach the letter from Navy Federal Credit Union. I have never been treated so poorly. Violations of my rights. I am a Consumer and I am protected by Federal Law. Consumer Law `1 Consumer Law 15 USC 1662B consumer law 1692 15 usc 1933 Act Title 15 Chapter 41 The car dealer cannot cancel the purchase contract after the 10-day period has expired. If a car dealer tries to do this, My understanding is that the car dealer is no longer entitled to cancel the purchase contract. Bettenhausen need to take responsibility for their actions. When I check in he inform me it will take over 3 hours, He offer me a ride wher I always Feel like they go above and Beyond to take care of my car.
