My wife had been talking via text with the dealership for over a week about a new Palisade. Today she was contacted and told they had just received a burgundy and a blue one, and a green they had already. over a week about a new Palisade. The salesman she had been talking with text her and said all three were there. So we drove to South Houston from an hour and a half away. When we got there, only green, white, silver, and black were there. Tried to get in touch with the salesman, nothing! We left only to get a text that he was sorry, but he only was saying the green was on the lot. This place is so slimy! It follows suit with other dealerships along the 45 South corridor that I've been to. They lie to get you there and then try to sell you something you don't want at an outrageous marked up price. If you're looking at Big Star, I'd pass it I were you! I'd give 0 stars, but DealerRater won't allow the review if you don't give at least 1 star. More

Not a good idea to have a salesperson who is obviously stoned while trying to sell you a car, smells of weed and body odor, has a severe lack of customer service skills that make employees of Walmart look stoned while trying to sell you a car, smells of weed and body odor, has a severe lack of customer service skills that make employees of Walmart look like professionals, is more interested in playing on her personal phone, and getting up and walking away to another salesperson to make sure she gets what she wants ordered from McDonalds and not talking numbers with the customer (me), when it comes time to talk numbers the MSRP of the car goes from 16,xxx that Hyundai states to 19,999 and there's an additional 6 thousand in fees and aftermarket services added on that wasn't requested. Extremely unprofessional, people in the Friendswood and Clear Lake are will not and should not deal with this type of person trying to sell them the second biggest investment most people will make in their life. Drug test this employee and just cut your losses if you're in any form of management or HR and see this. Or don't, because you've already lost my sale to another dealership the day after and they're 5 miles from you. More

This is the WORST dealership I have ever dealt with in my 30+ yrs of buying vehicle. We looked the price up online, went to see the 15’ Tahoe, they could not find the keys. Made the keys, loved the truck and went inside to do the deal and they come back adding fees and raising the price almost $10k high than advertised along with putting a down payment that we never discussed. They refused to honor the advertised price stating market conditions have changed. These people are crooks and do shady business. They are the worse people to deal with after you sign the papers !!!! I bought a pre certified Cadillac the engine light came on first week took it to a closer dealership and the car wasn’t in the system as papers !!!! When I called and spoke to Ron Carter employee, my car salesman (MASSINE) told me I had to call and get it registered !!!! There are other issues as well but I do not have enough space to write it all !!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE and now it’s BIG STAR but all the same people are there so I’m sure it’s all the same !!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Worst experience in my life. Such a shady dealership. They offered a deal for a 100% MSRP buyback guarantee. They told me on the phone twice the deal is real. They made me come in person twice and wait over 3 hours for both times. I kept asking so they don't waste my time if this deal is legit and they kept telling me yes. I spoke with Eric in person and Tony Gomez over the phone. In the end they inspected the vehicle found NOTHING wrong with it and it was below their required miles of 12,000/ year. The price I was supposed to get based off of the criteria they had online was going to be $17,500. Other dealerships were offering me $10,000 for my vehicle even without a trade in. This dealership offered me $5,000 for my vehicle which is a slap across the face to me. They want to upcharge $5,000-$10,000 for all their vehicles compared to their competition and claim that it is due to the high market but when they want to pay you for your vehicle they quote you 50% less than what their competitors offer. I hope to see this dealership close and out of business very soon because they don't deserve to operate under these sneaky circumstances. It even got to the point the manager wanted picture proof of the ad hoping i didn't have it and when I showed it to him he still said that he has to pay what "market" allows. I promise don't waste your time with this dealership you can find a car on the side of the road and you'll have better luck with that car then with dealing with this scam of a dealership. I'm pissed they even get 1 star... More
