They were also a big part of me "evangelizing" Hyundai to my wife, resulting in her purchase from Ron Carter. The sales department, however is another matter. Because of how I was treated by the sales department during a recent purchase, I will never return to Ron Carter. I was planning to buy all of my cars from Ron Carter. Now, I will buy none. The Absolute worst experience you could have. Don’t go there don’t attempt to buy anything there. I went there to drive the 2 possible vehicles, they both were off the lot. The salesperson had plenty of time to let me know they wouldn’t be there. Then he was too busy to meet with us. Brandon. Then getting raked over the coals price wise. Paying twice for delivery/destination charge. They’ll give you a 5,000 discount off the MSRP if you purchase this meaningless $3,000 package. My 2nd sales person Eric L. was horrible, talked to fast didn’t explain things well, and tried to Rob us. We came back 2nd day to drive car, It had BORD Feces over the hood. They didn’t clean the car before we drove it. It was there 3 hours before we arrived. 3 Hours and you can’t take off the bird crap off the hos? Finally after I sold my trade in to CarMax for $8,000 because they low balled me for $3,500 then $5,500. And it says on their website that they will add $500 to an appraised value. NOT! We walked out and went to Baytown Hyundai and walked away with the same car with lower miles for several thousand less. Seriously if you want to buy a car stay away from Ron Carter. Let’s just say this: I’ve lived within 10 miles of Ron Carter my entire life, I’ve bought 4 Hyundai’s in the past 30 years. I’ve never ever been able to successfully purchase a car from Ron Carter. Bait and switch. Went to purchase a brand new car and was ready to sign the paperwork, and noticed $3700.00 for a "platinum maintenance package" that they said was "mandatory" in order to buy the car. When I asked them "so new Hyundai's aren't already under warranty"? One of the salesmen, Paul Hewitt made it appear that there is no warranty unless you purchase this package (wrong)! They abruptly lowered the price when I said I was leaving, and now nobody can produce evidence of the "platinum package" that I paid for because I wanted the car. When you call them wanting the warranty package you purchased, all you get is sent to numerous voicemails. They also would not send me my second key for over a month even though the vehicle was already paid for. They are running an ILLEGAL warranty scam, and we reported them to the Texas Attorney Generals office since nobody would call us back after repeated calls about the "warranty". Be sure to record them when making the deal. We did! More
My husband came to look at a new Santa Fe for me while I was at work. He was up front with Antonio and told him he wouldn't purchase without me seeing the vehicle (it is for me), and decided after the test was at work. Antonio got extremely angry and confrontational with him about the fact that he wasn't going to purchase the vehicle today and claimed that my husband had "wasted his time". The sales associate then took the water bottle they had offered my husband, threw it in the trash and walked away. The lack of professionalism from this sales associate was appalling, and we will be taking our business elsewhere. More

I Purchased a car on Dec. 6, 2020 got it back at Jan 7, 2021 after they gave me an "I owe you" paper. They took the car to the Jaguar dealer and never told the dealer what to fix. Hyundai says they have a 2021 after they gave me an "I owe you" paper. They took the car to the Jaguar dealer and never told the dealer what to fix. Hyundai says they have a 150 point check on items But they gave me the car a month later without any antifreeze in it. I purchased antifreez the next day. I have the receipt from AutoZone. The car was not detailed I had to clean it myself. The visor I asked to be repaired and which was on the "I owe you" list was not repaired. I did not get any assistance from my salesman, no callbacks to my questions, no interest in helping a customer once I signed the contract. I paid top money for this car. They don't care..
