Quick easy deals-- PRELIMINARY REVIEW (updated) Left Ron Carter with a GREAT new vehicle. Our salesman Sosa made us feel at home and managed an awesome deal for us. We also enjoyed complimentary BBQ Left Ron Carter with a GREAT new vehicle. Our salesman Sosa made us feel at home and managed an awesome deal for us. We also enjoyed complimentary BBQ lunch served fresh off the grill, and I still feel like I'm walking on cloud 9 with this amazing car!!-- this was before discovering the lie we were placed in. The day we signed off on the vehicle we had set deal of the amount financed and monthly car note, we agreed, sat down with financing and signed paperwork. I get home and realized I needed a small repair, get the okay to come in only to be set up in a NEW financing meeting with a NEW rate because our deal we had set when we left the dealership was "preliminary"- not once was I notified over the phone that this was the case, not once was I notified that this was a PRELIMINARY DEAL and not one apology. Once I started to back out on the deal I received several phone calls from Sales Management "Chris" stating that the car needed to be returned ASAP or HPD would be notified of vehicle being stolen (this was being told to me after waiting over 4 hrs with a hungry 2 yr old in the lobby) .. when I went back with my husband I told finance the issues and I mentioned how we signed warranty and "sold as is" paperwork a week ahead of the actual "deal" and I found damage in 1 of my new tires and needs replacement, wasn't granted the tire because they feel they already reduced my price enough on the vehicle. Over all, the only thing that kept me here at this dealership was the vehicle. This place is ran by a husband and wife team and finance is thier offspring.. beware of the deals you make and be sure to have everything in writing and copy of. More
RUINED CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I walked into your dealership at about 4pm on March 14, 2017 knowing exactly what i wanted with a check from my bank prepared to buy a car from your d I walked into your dealership at about 4pm on March 14, 2017 knowing exactly what i wanted with a check from my bank prepared to buy a car from your dealership. I sat at your dealership for 4 hrs before your sales manager finally found the car i wanted at the price i wanted except it didn't have leather seats or tinted windows, which were to be installed the next day. I had a $25,000 check but the check was at my home which was 40 mins away in Baytown. It wàs 9 pm and they were adamant about having the check before they could say that that specific car was mine so they had the salesman, who was actually very pleasant, compared to everyone else i had to deal with, follow me 40 mins to my private residence for me to get the check drive me back to the dealership with the check, and bring me back home. This ended up becoming an 1 1/2 hr journey becauae they obviously didn't trust me to come the next day with the check. When arrived at the dealership at 11pm, only one person was still there and he had me signing incorrect documents. When i asked him about my copies of what i was signing, he said that everything would be sent to my bank. When i returned the next day to get the loaner car given to me until my car was ready, i had to resign all of the papers i signed the day before because it had the wrong vehicle listed on them. Buying a new car is supposed to be an exciting and wonderful experience and other than the fact that i love my new car, Ron Carter RUINED my car buying experience and i would never, ever recommend anyone buy a car at Ron Carter!!!! More
