Dealership name legitimacy and jacked up prices. First of all, this is not a Ron Carter Hyundai dealership anymore. ( Neither is Ron Carter Cadillac) They were bought out. I learned this from a legit First of all, this is not a Ron Carter Hyundai dealership anymore. ( Neither is Ron Carter Cadillac) They were bought out. I learned this from a legitimate Ron Carter employee elsewhere. I believe this is false advertisement. I'm writing the Better Business Bureau about this as I believe and personally looked for a dealership with a good reputation. However, not knowing this at the time I purchased a vehicle here. A used Ford. My credit is currently fair and improving and I was approved by my bank for a loan. Nonetheless, I went through the necessary scrutiny of them attempting to find me a better deal thus lowering my score with appr. 6 plus.. inquiries on my credit report..I needed a car and I purchased with my own bank loan in the end. Further, 4 weeks after purchase my check engine light came on and I had it checked. Catalytic Converter problems. I called the dealership only to be told rudely by the girl that works from the costumer waiting room ( I recognized her voice from sitting there for hours after they did a "complimentary" inspection. I'm sure I payed for it as the price of the car was jacked up from the price online but I needed a car with fair credit, not easy..) that it was "my problem" and would need to take it to a Ford dealership. Thank God I purchased a low mileage car ( it was covered by Ford warranty) and the problem was only a censor in the end but I will research my dealership where I will purchase a new car in the future as my credit approves. It certainly will not be this dealership but perhaps a legitimate Ron Carter one. I have no bad comments on the sales and finance folks I worked with. They only do their job and live with their own conscience. Car sales people/dealerships are like politicians, can't trust none of them. More
