Their combined knowledge and willingness to get us the best deal on the car we wanted, proved very helpful throughout our whole purchasing experience! Their service was professional, their demeanor was always welcoming and their ability to get us what we wanted, at the price we wanted, was unbelievable. We drove away happy customers in a 2014 Sonata Limited and still had money in our pockets because of the great price they got us. I received a mailer from Ron Carter with an estimated value on my old car and was invited to come to the dealer. This was my first visit. He was willing to negotiate a great price with me and the sales team to get me the model and the monthly payments I wanted.I was further impressed with finance manager Ralph Mendoza who gave me a really low interest rate. I had a very positive buying experience and with with my Elantra that got 38mpg on its first tank of gas. AL, Texas City. More

I decided to visit Ron Carter Hyundai to consider purchasing a new 2013/2014 Hyundai Veloster turbo. Online, the cars are listed for 18k, so I had confidence in Ron Carter to find me the car I wanted purchasing a new 2013/2014 Hyundai Veloster turbo. Online, the cars are listed for 18k, so I had confidence in Ron Carter to find me the car I wanted at a decent price. I filled out an online request to value my trade on the Ron Carter website. I currently drive a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Laramie with all the bells and whistles. The black book trade in value shown on the Ron carter website valued my trade at 22-24k, which is just under fair market value compared to KBB.com and NADAGuides.com. I decided to give it a try anyways since my vehicle is in immaculate condition, and the website listed to give well over black book value on trades. Vanessa contacted my from the online sales department after filling out the form, and asked me to come test drive a new Veloster that same day. She informed me that I would get a $25 shell gas card for making a visit to the dealership and test driving a new car "no questions asked". I visited the dealership that afternoon, and asked for Vanessa by name. They referred me to Sosa, who I had talked to earlier in the day to describe what vehicle I was looking for. Sosa greeted me that afternoon by asking what I was looking for. It took over 20 minutes for him to find the vehicle and put gas in it, even though he told me earlier on the phone that he would have the vehicle ready for an appointment at 5:45. I was slightly annoyed, but I went for a test drive and fell in love with the car. The vehicle was a great blend of all my requirements (cheap, fast, great MPG, and large enough to fit my drum set). I told Sosa that I liked the car, and I was ready to talk finances. He took my keys so that him and the service manager could look over my truck. After 30 minutes of sitting unattended, Sosa came back with some numbers to offer me. He wanted to sell me the car for list price (over 23k), added on another 2300 for mandatory dealer add-ons that I didn't ask to be added to the vehicle, and Ron Carter only valued my trade at 17k. I told him that I would only consider buying the Veloster if they gave me the advertised price, and only if they gave me fair market trade in value for my vehicle. They refused, so I left the dealership. I felt very disrespected when I told them what the fair market value of my truck was, and they asked if anyone had appraised my vehicle "in person". They acted like my Dodge ram was in poor condition, but my Dodge is in immaculate shape. I had my Truck appraised by a different dealership the very next day for 24,000. Ron Carter never once offered the Shell gas card for my test drive, and I didn't push the issue. I tried to call Vanessa the next day to find out what i needed to do in order to receive my Shell gas card, but have gotten no response from the dealership. I would strongly recommend buying your new Hyundai car elsewhere. More
