We sincerely apologize for the frustration and concern you experienced following your recent service visit, and we regret that our communication regarding our inspection process was not as clear as it should have been. As part of our commitment to your vehicle's long-term health and peak performance, we perform a comprehensive multi-point inspection on all vehicles, which does include visually checking and sometimes temporarily accessing components like air filters to inform you of their current condition. We want to assure you that this inspection is purely diagnostic and informational; we never proceed with any repair work or part replacement without explicit customer authorization, which is why the video was sent to highlight potential services. We understand why you are distrustful, especially given the coincidence of your A/C stopping less than a week later, and we want to assure you that checking an air filter will in no way cause damage to a customer's vehicle. Additionally, doing so intentionally is absolutely contrary to our standards and training. That said, coincidences do happen, and parts and systems do fail unexpectedly without a direct cause. We stand by the quality of our work and the integrity of our team and would be happy to discuss this further if you would like to contact me directly as we do want to ensure your complete satisfaction.
