Would like to know why oil on dip stick is always maybe a quart over full after an oil change. Is dip stick wrong are does it have a quart to much ? Big Star Hyundai exemplifies customer service. I purchased my car there but chose to service it closer to home for years. In fact, I paid over $1000 for a battery replacement and a valve replacement that cost $340 in parts and was charged $700 in labor. Furthermore, I was unable to secure a loaner vehicle while my car was being serviced. This was the most unsatisfactory experience I have ever had. Not only did the sales team misplace my second set of keys, but no one has been able to locate them. They repeatedly state that the previous owner did not provide the second set of keys. Despite purchasing my car brand new, I was informed that my keys were ready for pick-up, but they are still missing. I feel taken advantage of and will never return to Big Star. I will certainly not recommend this location to others. More
I made a same day appointment since there were times available online still. When I got to the dealership, I saw that they were busy. I knew I would have to wait awhile and was there from 11:00-2:30 for available online still. When I got to the dealership, I saw that they were busy. I knew I would have to wait awhile and was there from 11:00-2:30 for oil change and tire rotation. While checking in, I was lectured on how I should not be making a same day appointment. I did not see the point of him telling me this nor did I appreciate it. If you don’t want same day appointments then do not offer them. This made for an awkward and unwelcoming start to my long wait at the dealership. One positive thing I will add is that when I informed him that I needed to go asap so I could pick up my kids from school he acknowledged this and helped me complete the checkout paperwork so I was only waiting on my vehicle to be done at that point. More

Service center constantly overbooks*appointments" as they call them because they are not really "appointments" as they may or may not get to your appointment that day and don't expect them to tell you that e call them because they are not really "appointments" as they may or may not get to your appointment that day and don't expect them to tell you that either. You have to ask or do what I did and schedule a whole day of errands and come back 6 hours later to find out that your vehicle hadn't been touched and it "could be tomorrow" before they get to it. Manager was supposed to call me and never did 122 days later I happen to meet the manager because of issue number 2. Story 2: I'm currently working with them because I bought an extended warranty thru Hyundai when I bought my vehicle thar they suddenly have no record of now that I have a window motor going out and they quoted $890 to replace. Vehicle has been great, service center is a hot mess. More
I live in Houston. I purchase my vehicle from Big Star Hyundai. The dealership service department near me in Houston is not accommodating. Not at all! I will always make the the 20 minute drive to have Big Star Hyundai to. service my car, vs the 8 minute drive at the dealership close to me.
