I even bought the maintenance package that includes oil changes for 5 years however I've only had my oil changed there twice (the first two oil changes) because the first oil change took almost two hours, I thought to myself I must have come at a bad time of day or an exceptionally busy day so I didn't think that much about it. My second oil change took nearly three hours (I'm not exaggerating in the slightest). a few days later I received a survey by email, I took it explaining that I was satisfied with the work performed but was extremely unsatisfied with the amount of time simple oil changes take there, no response from Bill Currie Ford. On my third attempt to have my oil changed, I drove up a guy asked me if I had an appointment, no I said i wasn't aware you could even make appointments, I then go inside where he tries to hand me off to one of the guys who handles the paperwork and was told (I kid you not) "I can't help you, I go to lunch in 15 minuets". So I move to the next desk (the only other guy working inside) and was told "I cant help you right now either, I'm on the phone with an insurance adjuster". So I left drove home called them spoke to a manager about the situation, he apologized and told me if I made appointment through the website this wouldn't be an issue anymore. Well, when you go to the website to make an appointment you request the day and time frame (morning or afternoon), submit and someone will contact you shortly. Three attempts three separate days later I've never heard back from them so I ended up taking my car for its (by now overdue) oil change to a place on S. Dale Mabry I was in and out in 15 minuets. It was costly especially since I've already paid Bill Currie Ford for five years worth of oil changes. Fast forward to today, my car wouldn't start (it's only two years old and still under warranty) I called Bill Currie Ford to ask what I needed to do. I was told to call Ford roadside assistance which I did, they were great, I had a guy here in less than an hour. We jump started the car and he told me it was still under warranty so have it replaced with my dealer. I called Bill Currie Ford and was told to " bring it in tomorrow", I asked if I could make an appointment so I wouldn't be there for hours he said and I quote "No, just plan on being here half of the day 4 to 6 hours" and hung up! Needless to say I'll just purchase the battery and change it myself tomorrow, I can have that done in an hour not 4 to 6. Seriously reconsider buying your vehicle from Bill Currie Ford and defiantly DO NOT BUY A PRE PAID SERVICE PLAN FROM THEM! I purchased the battery for $132.68 and installed it today ... It took me about 40 minuets. More

A second and positive review of Bill Currie Ford Service. I had previously sent a review that was not a very positive view of their service dept. After sitting down and discussing my concerns with Mark Wilty I had previously sent a review that was not a very positive view of their service dept. After sitting down and discussing my concerns with Mark Wilty, Service Mgr. on the service of my '95 Ford SHO I was satisified with his solution to my concerns. I would now give the Bill Currie a positive in that if you are not satisified with their service tey will make it right. Talk to Mark Wilty. P.S. I was told that Tony---went to Detroit to accept his nomination by Ford Motor Co. as the #1 service tech. in the U.S.! He worked on my SHO. More

However, the business manager GEORGE DOUMIT was one of the most belitting, degrading finance manager I have ever encountered. The worst part was that he even mocked the fact that I am on full disability with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He is a detriment to the business and should be disciplined if not fired. More

Since then I've bought at least fifteen more, from dealers all over the U.S. Far & away, this was the best, most pleasant experience ever. I was dreading going into a dealership in a new area (we recently relocated), but had been to Bill Currie for service when we arrived, and was impressed with how I was treated. The trade/sale transaction was done in a no-nonsense manner.Ken Lee, our sales associate, understood that we were serious buyers and that we expected some back & forth (minimal), but wanted no drama. After all was said and done, we bought the new vehicle and it was a total pleasure. George Doumit handled the documentation with equal professionalism. What a pleasure! The most pleasant experience my wife and I have ever had, buying a vehicle. I would refer Bill Currie and the gentlemen (and I do mean gentlemen) who took care of us, to anyone needing a vehicle in the Tampa area. More

When it was We leased a car 2 years ago from Bill Currie Ford and had an enjoyable experience - they helped us into the right car at the right price. When it was time to turn in our leased car, we drove over from Orlando and the staff was once again a pleasure to deal with. We worked with Jim Fox and Jeff Camara for both deals and felt they were sincere and genuine in their desire to help us. They are friendly, professional, no high pressure and strive to accommodate the customer. I definitely recommend them. More
One of the most plesant buying experiences ever! I was hunting for a new car, and being very upside down in a car I bought only to get me out of a worse situation, I went on a search for the car I ac I was hunting for a new car, and being very upside down in a car I bought only to get me out of a worse situation, I went on a search for the car I actually wanted a 2014 Ford Fusion. After traveling over an hour from Sarasota to the tampa area, I visited the dealer I last bought a ford at, brandon ford. There after asking for a sales person, I was told by him, my trade (a 2012 Focus Titanium) was only worth 12K (blue book 17) and that no one would want to finance a new car with rolled over debt. He wanted to run a credit report before even looking at a car. After being made so upset at how unwilling he was to help, I took my friends advice and drove about 20 minutes into tampa to Bill Currie Ford. What an absolutely refreshing experience this was. I was warmly greeted by Karina who I told about my bad experience and sweetly said "we will get you in a car, don't worry" and worry I didn't. We quickly found the exact car I wanted and worked out an excellent price, and I got exactly what I wanted for my trade. Karina was possibly the most accommodating person Ive ever met, trying to get me the most for my trade, letting me know the tricks dealers do to make price's look cheaper, and making sure the car I got was the one I wanted. She even went as far (because Im a big texter) to give me her cell phone to txt her if I ever needed anything. She even on a seeing hot day was nice enough to run around in the heat to get everything done so me and my friends could be in and out when we needed to due to time constraints. When I came to pick up the car she had it looking beautiful and clean and I cant say Ive ever been more comfortable with a sales person in my life. Karina is a true and genuine woman with a wonderful sense of humor and a big heart. I wish her all the best and I will be referring every one I know to her. She alone (beyond the awesome deal) was well worth the 1.5 hour drive to Tampa, and I know that I will be sure to purchase from there and from her again. More

This dealership is all business and they Just by pulling in you can see at least 10 salesman outside ready to pounce. They don't even look friendly. This dealership is all business and they care about is their bottom line. I went in with serious intentions on buying an F-150 for sale with a good deal, and the salesperson immediately wanted to start my paper work for purchase without even starting to inspect the vehicle, assuming I couldn't afford the truck. Then when it came to done to the final sign my work called me into to come in early, so I took it as a sign to take a minute to consider. They 'offered' to let me drive it off the lot before finalizing the paper work, as long as I put my $500 down. I asked them to hold on to the paper work until I got off work at 3 (I was there at 9 am) and they said they would do what they could with the truck. I called less than an hour later to tell them I would be back at 3 for certain to pay, ready to give them my card numbers for the down payment over the phone, the salesperson told me to wait 30 minutes, and an hour later she notified me, 'car sold, sorry'. Just to exemplify their rudeness and lackluster approach to their costumers. With numerous Salespeople, Bill Currie Ford supports a cut-throat business environment that causes a poor rapport with possible costumers. They boast a 'family' atmosphere but clearly don't support one. If you're going in 100% to buy a truck or car at the price you saw online plus tax, tag,and title without driving or inspecting the vehicle, then this is your place. Otherwise I would advise ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP. More

Bill Currie Ford had exactly the package we want (ok, with the exception that it has a moon roof we DON'T want, but not a deal breaker). In the course of our search we ran across this dealership, who had the nearly perfect car. Jim from the Internet department called me, and I answered. We had a very nice conversation until I asked him what the Z plan price for the vehicle was. Suddenly, our conversation was over. Jim began repeating into the phone, "Hello? Hello? I can't hear you" and hung up on me. I called back. Got the receptionist no problem, who put me through to Jim from Internet sales. When I said my name, again I was met with, "Helo? hello? I can't hear you." I asked my husband to call. THIS time, Jim said, "oh, I'm with a customer, I'll call you back with the info." Do I even need to say it? Of course he never did. I would NEVER buy a car from this dealer, with or without Z plan, and will be sure to tell everyone in the market to steer clear! Ick. More
