I had the pleasure of working with Jeremy,Brandon, Dennis ,And Freddy I had been looking around online and came across this website at McKaig in Gladewater. and it says a dealership for the people ,and that caught my attention.. I received a call from the dealership and they asked if I wanted to make an appointment and come in.I was hesitant because I’ve had some credit issues and haven’t had very much luck in the past few years but trying to clean that up anyway I said no thanks and hung up about 15 minutes later Mr. Freddy called me and he started asking me a few questions and I answered him and he said Tammy if you just come up here and we can’t do anything for you I’ll buy you a full tank of gas just for your time he said I would like to believe that we are the best in East Texas and we do everything possible to meet the needs of the people . Meet the needs of the people huh? Don’t work on commission what?I’ve never heard of such a thing in my entire life car shopping. In fact I’ve always dreaded car buying because I felt like sharks were attacking me trying to sell me a car and get me out on the road and that’s it so I thought about it and then I said OK so I drove on up there and the first person I met with Dennis salesman he took some information asked what I was looking for anyway He gave my stuff to finance pulled a couple cars and we did some test driving.no rush answered all my questions ,very pleasant sales person! in my past experiences, salesmen have done nothing but rush me not really cared about what I was looking for or needed,just seem to want to get me in the car and get me out of there as quick as they could with as much cash they could get from me.Sign on the dotted line and off I go.Mckaig does not work like that from the very beginning to the very end.That I can promise you. Next ones I had picked something that I liked that was in my budget I went into finance and sat down with Brandon we sat for a couple hours almost, just talking and not all about cars in finance either,but family and work and life.he made me understand my loan to what made sense in my mind he didn’t add things on my loan that were not necessary and didn’t need to be and drive up the price of my payment,so when I walked out of there I knew exactly what was going on with a car note ,how it was done for the first time in all of my car buying experiences. And I feel like I had met a friend not a shark. So I have my keys and loan docs,my I go to the car and get in and here comes Jeremy who I must of called 1 million times before i ever even came to the dealership asking him questions I must’ve driventhat man crazy ! Haha poor guy .so introduces himself and now I have a face to a name he asked me Tammy do you know how to run the everything in that car.? I said no not really but I’ll figure it out he said unlock the door I’m coming on the other side when he got in and he spent a good 30 minutes with me show me everything on how it worked etc.He didn’t want me figiting with gadgets taking my eyes off the road.setting up my phone with my Bluetooth and then we got to talking about lifestuff .I have never had an experience with the dealership that took so much time making sure that I was satisfied, that my questions were answered , not rushed ,fully understood the terms of my loan and not added things on my loan to drive Up the payment.Mckaig Is exactly what they say.a dealership for the people!!!!!! from the beginning to the end was nothing but a pleasurable experience, if you’re looking to buy a car and you dread going into these car sharks dealerships rushing you , not listening to your wants and needs., stop there and call McKaig! They don’t disappoint!!!! if I moved 1000 miles away and had to buy another vehicle I would go right back to McKaig in Gladewater. And also they gave me a full tank of gas!!!! now who ever does that when you buy a car,your usually left with less than a quarter tank . Now it’s Monday and I get a call from a call from Mckaig.Just calling to see how I like the car if everything’s going OK if I have any questions or concerns that’s never happened either and usually I leave the lot and I never hear from the, again Unless I forgot a signature or something of that sort. I’ve never had a dealership call me just to see how things were going if I was happy with the car if I had any questions left to me that goes above and beyond good customer service ! Lastly a couple weeks go by and I get a letter in the mail from the McKaig just thanking me for stopping in and giving them a chance and also to tell me if for any reason that I’m not happy with my payment or the vehicle to call them and they would take the car back and we would find something that I was happy with .so they follow through! they go above and beyond customer service at its finest and they treat you like a person .They want you to be comfortable with your purchase,your payment,your vehicle,with all of your car buying experiences.I can’t say enough good things about this dealership. When Freddie told me I would like to think that we are the best dealership in East Texas you can believe that because they are I hope whoever reads this check them out they aim to please the people not their pockets. More
