Well let me start by saying that this review is sooooo deserved, after dealing with multiple subpar Honda dealership within a 100 mile radius over a 6 month period I was ecstatic when I discovered Ed at B deserved, after dealing with multiple subpar Honda dealership within a 100 mile radius over a 6 month period I was ecstatic when I discovered Ed at Bill Kay! I seriously did my homework, I knew what I wanted and what I wanted to spend on it and I wasn't budging. Okay, to be honest, I might have budged a little bit for a dealership if the customer service blew me away. (I'm a sucker for good service) Lucky for me I found the best price AND the best customer service all in one place. I live 100 miles away from Bourbonnais in Champaign, IL so I dealt entirely over the phone until the day I got my car. Upon calling, I explained that I had been shopping around at local dealerships and had been entirely unimpressed by the lack of enthusiasm and willingness to even TRY to sell me a car; so I was looking for someone who was willing to talk it out with me, convince me, and give me the best price.....maybe I'm high maintenance? (it was my first time buying a brand new car and I wanted an experience darnit) I really did get just that! Straight off they quoted me $400 dollars less than any other dealership!!!! I immediately took that price and started calling other dealerships to see if they could/would match it. I'm not even kidding, a particular dealership laughed at me and told me when I get there and find out that [Bill Kay] has lied (because they couldn't possibly be making any money off the car at that price), that they [the other dealership] would have my car waiting for me. Well Ed at Bill Kay didn't lie, I paid exactly what he quoted me over the phone with no hidden cost coming from anywhere. They were fast, efficient, and so helpful. They weren't pushy or condescending like the other dealerships.And I'm just going to point out, even though it shouldn't matter, I am an eccentric hairstylist, I have piercings, tattoos, and atomically red hair and salespeople at other dealerships would not/did not take me seriously when I approached them. I felt completely comfortable and respected at Bill Kay! So yay for them!!!! I'm super happy with my experience and it's only been a week, but I am LOVING MY NEW 2013 HONDA FIT SPORT and have already begun to refer all my friends and family there! More

My wife and I drove 98 miles to visit Bil Kay Honda and the time spent was certainly worth while. We purchased a 2013 Honda Pilot. All these gentlement were professional and the type of individuals that you could be friends with. The dealership itself was clean and bright. If buying a new vehicle can be classified as fun then today was certainly fun. Even though the dealer is a distance away from our home we will reccommend it to our friends. More

When I walked into the dealership Colin was there and knew what I wanted. He was knowledgeable about the product. I was offered but never felt pressured to buy extended warranty or any extras. This dealer was overall a joy to work with. There were no hassles, pushy salemanship, or tricks. Everyone we worked with was helpful, friendly, and did their best to make sure we were happy. After exhaustively searching for the perfect used vehicle for months, I can say before we've even made our first car payment that we are NOT happy with our decision to buy a used truck from this dealership. for months, I can say before we've even made our first car payment that we are NOT happy with our decision to buy a used truck from this dealership. First of all, during the test drive we could not fully concentrate on every aspect of the vehicle because sales distracted us by talking about irrelevant things the ENTIRE time. We were able to take the car on about a 15 minute test drive and then get back to the dealer to start trying to negotiate on price because the sticker price was high. They then make sticker shock worse by bringing out their "best offer" with their "suggested retail price" which was $5,000 over what Kelly Blue Book states the vehicle is even worth! Donny tells us Kelly Blue Book is inaccurate...funny if that's true then why do banks base the amount they will loan you for a used vehicle on what Kelly Blue book states the vehicle is worth?! So we ended up negotiating down from their ridiculous asking price and STILL paid $1,000 more than KBB states the vehicle is worth!! This is how they try to trick you into making you feel you are getting a better deal than you really are. We were then rushed through the financing process since it was closing time on a Saturday.. and there was an error at first on the total price of what we had agreed to pay (first set of paperwork they had forgot to lower the price of the vehicle) so apparently there was no time to even explain one thing about the extended warranty. To make matters worse, two days after we get the vehicle home we notice the oddometer stops working! The numbers are freezing up and not calculating mileage correctly and the instrument cluster is acting up and not working correctly at times. We call Donny McGee hoping he can help since we JUST purchased the vehicle from him and of course we get the 'there's nothing he can do' line. It's OUR fault for not buying the warranty. Wow...a company that sells you a vehicle with a surprise $1,000 broken part two days after getting it home and then tells you there's nothing they can do to help you? Yet they want to brag how all their used vehicles are certified and put thoroughly through testing before they sell them? Then why wasn't a part that was clearly malfunctioning BEFORE we bought the car fixed before they put it on their lot? This is not something that breaks overnight according to the research we have been doing online and is a very common problem with these Ridgelines, yet he's denying it was a problem while they had it! We aren't even sure at this point if the miles on the vehicle are what the dealer told us they are since the oddometer works intermittently! And now we have to come up with $1,000 atleast (out of our pocket) before we even make our first car payment to fix their serious problem they should have fixed before the vehicle was put on the lot for sale! We are VERY upset. We will not be back and we will not recommend this dealership to anyone. They left a very bad taste in our mouths to say the least. My suggestions to future car buyers..try to take the car home for a weekend test drive so you can have the vehicle tested by your own mechanic and you are free of distractions, so you don't end up with surprise $1,000 problems that should have been fixed by a dealer that claims they sell quality used vehicles. A dealer and salesman that are more concerned about making sure you read their 'reviews' online than they are with making sure their customers get a QUALITY used vehicle? Never again! More
I worked with Donny McGee over the phone and he made the entire process simple and to the point. I was able to get the exact Honda I wanted in a very fast timeframe and even got it delivered to a Honda deal entire process simple and to the point.
