Great Experience This was my first Subaru purchase and both Larry and Marty made this a great experience. This is not your typical high pressure car dealership never w This was my first Subaru purchase and both Larry and Marty made this a great experience. This is not your typical high pressure car dealership never was I pressured into buying anything additional at all. Larry listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the car that met my needs. When I went into finance to see Marty I asked about an additional item and he said I did not need it and he would not recommend it. When did you ever hear the finance person tell you not to purchase something additional! I bought a new 2019 Forester Touring and I also purchased the Gold Extended plan. There was no nickel and dime additional fees it was a straight up $75 document fee. Everything in this transaction was straight up and very transparent. When I purchase my next Subaru I will go back to Bill Kolb Jr again. More

The best sales people who work to get you the exact vehicle you want or need to the Management Staff that work to be sure you are Satisfied. The service department is the best. Comfortable waiting area and expert technicians. Your vehicle is maintained or repaired right the first time. You never set "Sold" parts or services you don't need. You can be comfortable sending you children in for service and getting the same level of service as you would if you went yourself. More

For each vehicle I have purchased at Bill Kolb I have never been pressured into any deal and have always had an enjoyable experience, this transaction was no different. I can not say they same for other Suabru dealers. I, along with my family and friends have a few Subaru dealers much closer to us on our side of the Hudson but we continue to go to Kolb. You do not need to price shop from dealer to dealer, just come here, they make it that easy. More
Joe spoils an alright dealership with a bad attitude Joe Minns is a service director at this facility, and he has done his best to make my purchasing experiences miserable two times. The first vehicle I purchased was scratched to the metal (1 ft scratch) which was not there when I did my walk around (the man selling the vehicle confirmed this). It was scratched while it was being polished. Joe refused to acknowledge this, raised his voice at me, and told me it's a used car and I should expect it to have scratches. I indicated this was a deal breaker and that I would walk away from the sale. He said "go ahead." the only reason I bought the car is because the salesman negotiated for me to receive a check to cover the cost of the repair. This same vehicle ended up requiring an entire engine replacement, despite the fact that the dealership claimed to have completed the necessary repairs before I purchased it. The engine replacement was covered by Subaru as it was evident that the manufacturer, not the customer, was at fault. Fast forward two years. I bought a truck from this dealer that they inspected and passed it onsite. The truck was apparently missing the sway bar and links at the time of purchase. I drove the truck a year and went to get it reinspected, only to have it fail because of these missing components. The dealership is refusing to take any ownership for the issue, and Joe, the same man I had issues with years ago, continues to be disrespectful and downright rude to customers, and indicated he doesn't trust any other dealership to inspect the vehicle and demanded I drive 4 hours away to have him personally inspect it. Bottom line: don't deal with these people, and if you insist on buying a car through them, avoid Joe like the plague. He is rude, and is looking to make a buck, not a satisfied customer. More
