James is a great salesman. Closing was far from ideal. James was an excellent salesman. He had everything we needed when we wanted to test drive 3 different cars on 2 separate trips. I did have issues with Carlos. He didn't make a great first impression and then it was all downhill from there. When we decided we wanted to buy a Civic. Carlos came with a price that was 300 above the large price tag in the window of the same exact car 10 feet away from us at the show floor. I wanted to leave at that point. Somehow I stuck around and finally agreed to a price. I was not smart enough to ask about all the accessory prices so I was upset when I had to pay for those and saw the breakout with the financing guy. I was more upset when I finished and asked about the accessories and they weren't even on the car. I asked for a refund and got more pushback and never an apology for charging me for something that was not on the car. Honest mistake or not Carlos never showed a bit of contrition and I wish I did not give him our business. I also got pre-approved from Honda before coming in and they made me do the application again. Not sure who is at fault there, but Honda's financing process doesn't seem very straightforward. More

James was good. Manager Carlos seemed to want to kill sale! James, our salesman, was very professional and helpful. He was knowledgeable, responsive and had everything ready for us when we needed as we were te James, our salesman, was very professional and helpful. He was tone-deaf in his aggressiveness and didn't leave a great first impression. After a successful test-drive, we almost didn't go back because of him. We ultimately decided that James had been helpful enough to warrant buying from Bill Page Honda despite our negative experience with Carlos. We did get the car, over 6 hours after walking in (ready and willing to buy, with all financing pre-approved and no need to do any more test drives or anything else that might explain why it took nearly a full work-day to buy a car). Throughout the entire experience, we wanted to walk away more than once purely because of the Carlos's abrasive behavior, and we asked ourselves multiple times why we were still there, going through with the sale. As an opening salvo, Carlos quoted us a price for a floor-model vehicle that was more than the price advertised on the vehicle itself. Yet, the worst part of our experience was when we were charged for items that were not on the vehicle, and then spent nearly an hour trying to get the money back while Carlos refused to speak with us anymore. However, James was professional, and the final price was more than fair, so we did go through with the sale in the end. If you go to buy a car, just make sure you're prepared. More
