Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.

I bad deal at another Ford Dealer I was forced into a deal with Westway Ford due to either their sales staff did not know the actual working details of the AAC Ford system compared to I was forced into a deal with Westway Ford due to either their sales staff did not know the actual working details of the AAC Ford system compared to other manufactured automobile and either their problem was a lack of knowledge or as my adult daughter said bare-faced lies about systems on the car they were selling me and to make things worse for me no one was available to demonstrate the systems to me under the circumstance we took delivery of the vehicle at 10:30 PM due to exceptionally long wait time for paper work on our cash deal and trade. we left believing we had what they told us we had. After driving home on a very dark night about 35 miles and fairly busy traffic we read the manual and realized the car did not have ACC as we were told. We found Bill Utter Ford very understanding of our problem with what was now a used car complete paid for. Bill Ford had a car and demonstrated it to us with under 3,000 miles. Bill Utter Ford sold it to us at half what Westway Ford told us it would cost us to trade for a car after their experienced person confirmed what we then knew the car did not have the equipment Ford called ACC.
