Bill Utter Jr. was 14 when he started working at Bill Utter Ford. With his new driver's license, Bill began delivering parts for the family dealership. Bill and Virginia Utter opened the doors to their new Ford dealership in 1956 in downtown Denton. It was the beginning of a family tradition of offering the best Ford products and services to North Texas families.
In the early days, they were simply concerned with making ends meet from day to day and treating each customer with courtesy and respect, as they would any friend. Primarily Great! My vehicle (Ford Explorer Platinum) was in for its first oil change. While there I requested a full detail. The quality of the workmanship in terms o My vehicle (Ford Explorer Platinum) was in for its first oil change. While there I requested a full detail. The quality of the workmanship in terms of the old change would be very difficult to quantify. The service manager, Erin Bostick, is always at the top of her game. She had my car waiting in the parking are adjacent to the service center when I arrived. She walked me to the cashier to verify everything was in order. The cashier was equally proficient and professional. Where there was a falling down in service, was the full detail. The car was still wet (ie. not dried off) and the interior was not up to par in terms of cleaning or application of the 'cleaner/conditioner' to the interior of my vehicle. It also looked as if someone wore dirty shoes inside my vehicle, leaving distinct dirt smudges on the driver side floor mat. More
