It made me uneasy, so I travelled out to Blue Springs where I was met with a staff that had my financial goals in mind. Had a pleasant experience there, and would travel there again to purchase my next vehicle. Well worth it! More

Awful service My complaints on this visit are listed below: - Oil usage light wasn't reset, had to go back in and have the tech reset the indicator - Wiper fluid My complaints on this visit are listed below: - Oil usage light wasn't reset, had to go back in and have the tech reset the indicator - Wiper fluid was not topped off (again - this happens EXTREMELY frequently) even though it was marked on the sheet. While tech was resetting the oil indicator light the Service Advisor filled the wiper fluid - I was told needed new wipers (at a cost of >$40) because one was broken or cracked. I replaced my own wipers and found no cracks or breaks in the rubber - I was told I needed new tires, immediately,, however tires measure 4/32 which is acceptable but marginal (replacement would have been ~$850) - I asked for an alignment check; no data was provided that a check was done nor the results if it was done - I was told I needed a new battery; however when I came back a few days later with a coupon for a battery BS Ford wanted to charge me an additional $40 installation fee. I left and went to Dick Smith Ford where there is no installation charge. There have been years of the same complaints like the above; in addition to Service Advisors not knowing what Ford's warranty is. When I called Dick Smith Ford, they were able to get me in for the battery installation, for no installation charge, checked alignment and tread depth without even having me asked and treated me well. I have taken this vehicle to BS Ford the entire time I have had this vehicle, >100K miles as well had purchased my prior vehicle from BS Ford and had it serviced there as well. However, it has come time to say to Blue Springs Ford, "You are Fired, I'm letting you go." BS Ford lost my new car business years ago due to shady practices, and now you have lost my service business. The shady practices above need to be addressed and immediately corrected. In the meantime, Dick Smith Ford will be servicing my vehicle. I wish I could say the above things were one-time occurrences, however, they aren't and continue to be on-going. The only way to change this is by taking my business to somewhere that takes care of its customers. More

It was excellence!! I’ve been looking for a truck for about a couple months now. Was not ready to pull the trigger until the end of this year, Kevin has been patient and I’ve been looking for a truck for about a couple months now. Was not ready to pull the trigger until the end of this year, Kevin has been patient and has answered all my questions even when I was not ready to purchase a truck. He called me saying they got a truck in with all the things I wanted and told me I would like the color. He was not wrong, fell in love with the truck and just felt like it was the right truck and perfect timing.
