Bob King Hyundai

I bought a 2017 Infiniti Q50 from Bob King Hyundai. When we took the car out for a test drive and it seem fine. The next day I can hear a knocking noise. I took the car back to Bob King and spoke with the salesman and the sales manager, the salesman took it for a test drive and said he didn't hear anything. I took the car to the Infiniti dealership and they said I had a bad wheel bearing. Therefor I had to use the warranty that the finance manager insisted for me to purchase. I had purchased it with the sale of the car. So I had to pay a $250 deductible, then the next day I picked up the car and it was making a this whistle type noise. I called Infiniti to take the car back in and they checked it out and come to find out the turbos in the car where gone bad. So I had to pay another deductible of $250 plus pay for the parts that the warranty didn't cover $1200, $350 for front brakes and a $150 for an oil change. It all cost a total $ 7000. This has been been the worst used car buying experience for me. when i purchased my Acura from Crown I didn't have any problems with the vehicle. I purchased that car in 2015 and still have it and I have not had any problems with it beside doing the routine maintenance. I had to spend out all this money for a vehicle that I hadn't had for thirty days. I was late posting this review because I want to wait until everything was fixed on the vehicle before writing this review. The two salesmen where great but the sales manager could have at least suggested for me to bring in the vehicle and have it checked out but his response was he could not have anyone check out something that they didn't hear at the time. When I took it to Infiniti t the next day they heard the knocking right away in front driver side of the wheel. The salesmen were young and fairly new. I was deeply disappointed in this dealership and would not purchase another vehicle from Bob King Hyundai. I felt like they knew what was wrong with the vehicle when they sold it to me and that is why the finance manager insisted on me purchasing the warranty. More

Brought car in for check engine light on. They have had my car 6 weeks , and still no info on diagnosis. No loaner car or nothing. I’m not an easy person to please and Bob King succeeded. I was turned down outright by at least 3 other dealers but Bob King worked to make my deal work and I love my Hyundai. Worst service I've had on a car in 50 years. After over 2 weeks they are unable to tell me if the engine blowing up is going to be covered under warranty. The service department is absolutely horrible. Nothing but false information, misleading information and lies. If you buy a vehicle from them DO NOT take the vehicle back for service. The service was AWFUL. My car was dropped off 2/15 8:20 in the morning for a rain leak resulting in water on the passenger floor and change a parking bulb. I had to initiate contact with the service department Tuesday night to find out they needed to keep my care. 2/16 no updates from the service department, called multiple times, finally got a Brandon. My car was still not ready and stated that he would called me 2/17 by 3pm. No call from Brandon on 2/17, I called and was advised that my tech was out today and Brandon was busy. I advised Patrice to see if my car was ready, she said yes. I got to the dealer and my car was not repaired (leak or Bulb). I was advised that the window seal on the left needed to be reseal and they don't do that, what about the bulb being replace? It was not done because the young lady that checked me in removed it from the invoice. I was told that I could take the care to KIA body shop and they should be able to reseal the window. Question, you had my car 3 days, why would you not contact me to advised what was needed and why wouldn't the car be taken to Bob King KIA body shop and window be seal? I know Kia body shop is used for repair for Bob King cars. My relationship with Bob King goes back years (Mazda Protege, Martha sales person) and I have never experience that level of service. The level of customer service was HORRIBLE! Please provide adequate training for your employee. Your employees interaction with your customers is a reflection of your brand and right now your brand sucks! More

Just got back from my 100+ mile round trip from Cornelius, NC to Bob King Hyundai in Winston Salem, NC. Had been communicating with Amanda at the dealership about seeing the new Santa Cruz. They had at least one on site and she assured me it was being held as a demo which alleviated my concerns about driving this distance only to find out the vehicle had been sold when I got there. Had a confirmed appointment for 4:00pm. When I arrived at the dealership there was no Amanda to be found. They did have a Santa Cruz on the lot but it had “just been sold” so no test drive. A salesman allow me to check out the vehicle and sit inside. A nice enough guy but I didn’t get his name because it really didn’t matter as there is no way I would now buy a car from this dealership. Lie to me once, shame on you. Lie to me twice shame on me. Bob King Hyundai/Amanda will never get the opportunity to lie to me twice. More
