Great experience at Bob Rohrman Toyota! Every dealer I went to, you talk about pricing, the guy steps away to "talk to his manager" for 15 minutes and the whole thing feels like a game. Salesperson, though friendly, sold me a car that was not what I had indicated I needed. I am moving west, needed an AWD vehicle. Stressed that. Signed papers on car that wasn’t AWD. I should have been more what I had indicated I needed. I am moving west, needed an AWD vehicle. Stressed that. Signed papers on car that wasn’t AWD. I should have been more circumspect, but trusted the salesperson. Had to return the car. I let the person know less than 24 hrs after the sale when it dawned on me what had happened. ( hadn’t picked up the car yet) We settled on another vehicle that had 35,000 more miles, Dealership kept it 10 more days and did fix some dents, scratches. Extended the warranty which I thought was part of the adjustment made for bad first deal. Turned out it cost me $2500. Might hv been my mistake for not being more attentive. When I picked up the car, part of the agreement was that it was to have been thoroughly detailed. It was not. Dirty inside. They took it for another hour and seemed to clean it up a bit. When I got home, there was dirt, food, between the seats and under the mats. The car will probably work out okay, but I did not feel good about the overall experience. More
