While I understand that certain characteristics of the vehicle, such as the idle vibration, may be inherent to its design, I am nonetheless disappointed as I have never experienced such pronounced vibrations in any of my previous vehicles. Despite this, I appreciate your acknowledgment of the situation. However, the issue that remains concerning is the peeling of the passenger seat's color. If you could provide clarification on whether the passenger seat underwent any repairs or refinishing, it would greatly assist in understanding the root cause of the problem. If the seat was, in fact, not repaired, I am willing to attribute the issue to a potential manufacturing flaw. However, if there were any repairs performed, it would be important for me to know, as this might necessitate further attention. Maintaining a professional and positive relationship is important to me, and I believe in fair and open communication to resolve matters amicably. I trust that your dealership values customer satisfaction, and I am hopeful that we can work together to address these concerns. Thank you for your time and consideration. Dion Rostamian, We understand your disappointment regarding the OEM's parts warranty process. We'd like to let you know we have thoroughly reviewed this situation. Unfortunately, the OEM ultimately determines the validity of warranty claims based on their specific criteria and guidelines. While we respect your opinion, we are bound by the OEM's decision. In addition, it does clearly state on the invoice that there are "No Returns on electrical or special order items." A battery is concerned with an “electrical” item. BMW offers a warranty to replace a defective item purchased from a BMW dealership with proof of purchase presented to them and presenting the vehicle in question for diagnostics. The BMW dealership would then diagnose any faults and provide a replacement for any faulty components that fall within the scope of the OEM’s warranty. It appears no evidence of your battery purchase was presented to the other BMW dealer when you took the car in for service. We recommend that you contact that dealership with proof of purchase so they may submit a claim under the BMW warranty. While we cannot guarantee the OEM will retroactively honor the claim, this is our best suggestion for you at this stage. While we repeatedly tried to advise you about the OEM’s warranty replacement claim process throughout the last several weeks, you have been extraordinarily combative and verbally abusive to our team members. The manner of your communications with our team members is not acceptable. We respectfully ask that you please work with another service location for any future automotive services or sales needs.
