Real. People. I spent the first 3 hours of my day today in a stream of constant tears when I was told by two other Honda dealerships in St. Louis that I would have I spent the first 3 hours of my day today in a stream of constant tears when I was told by two other Honda dealerships in St. Louis that I would have to downgrade from my Honda CR-V to a Honda Civic, if I wanted to keep my monthly payments the same. I am a foster and adoptive parent and I absolutely need to be able to fit three child car seats in a row in the back seat of my car. The CR-V is the only vehicle in my price range that can achieve this. I am in a lease that is ending and I need to stay in the same price range that I am now. The first two Honda dealerships told me that would be impossible. The first Honda Dealership actually informed me that I would have to sign with them by this Wednesday (two days from now!) just to get the Honda Civic for the price I'm currently paying for my CR-V. I was extremely distraught by the time I arrived at Bommarito Honda. BUT, as soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by the friendly and warm face of Chirs Carr. He sat down with me and treated me like a person, not a robot or a bank. He listened intently to my concerns and needs and for the first time in my day, gave me hope that perhaps there is a way I will be able to get the car I need to fit the three car seats in. Chris never tried to talk me out of what I wanted. Instead, he spent an hour with me trying to find a way to meet my needs for a price I can afford. I never felt pressured to make any decisions. In fact, unlike the other dealerships, Chris advised me NOT to make any decisions today and encouraged me to come back at a later date. I felt Chris not only sincerely heard me, but also genuinely cared about my situation. When we were done meeting, another employee asked me if I would like an ice cream and Starbucks hot chocolate. YES please! For me, nothing could have topped off my visit there better! What more could I ask for than free ice cream!?! Thank you Bommarito! Especially thank you to Chris :) -Caitlin M. More
