The first time in we met a salesman and told him we were researching. He did not pressure us at all. I told him I would come back for a test ride when I was ready. He did not pressure us for our names or number. The next week when we came in, he remembered our names and situation, and made sure we were taken care of, even while he was taking care of someone else. We bought the car later that week. He spent time giving me a thorough orientation to the car, showing me every button and feature. He paired up my phone to the car and registered me to the uconnect app. Not only that, he explained the service area to me so I would know what lane to get in when I come in for an oil change.
