Gloria was great and helpful, as was Rodney, their boss, bill in finance. Everyone just went out of there way to make me happy and feel valued. That I appreciate. boss, bill in finance. Everyone just went out of there way to make me happy and feel valued. That I appreciate. More

My overall review regarding my recent experience with Bonneville and Son was sub par. I had a terrible time dealing with Laurence Pinard AKA Grumpy Larry. He demonstrated zero salesmanship and his produc Bonneville and Son was sub par. I had a terrible time dealing with Laurence Pinard AKA Grumpy Larry. He demonstrated zero salesmanship and his product knowledge was even worse. I was a bit embarrassed for the old hag. Larry also has a listening deficiency because I recall having to tell him numerous times that I wasn't concerned with the payment scheme but more interested in the overall price of the vehicle. He couldn't wrap his dusty head around that concept so he had to get his daddy sales manager who eventually made things right after me. I did have to make two unnecessary trips to them because they made promises over the phone that they wouldn't keep when I arrived in person. I'm satisfied with the final results that Mike Fortier was able to work out but grumpy Larry should be promoted to custodian. More
I am working on buying my 5th vehicle and I have never had such a frustrating & horrible experience with a dealership as Bonneville & Son on Hooksett rd. I found a vehicle and after negotiations I bought had such a frustrating & horrible experience with a dealership as Bonneville & Son on Hooksett rd. I found a vehicle and after negotiations I bought it. I did not go through the dealership but handled all the financing myself with my own credit union which included going back & forth between the two with the paper work & had my husband come to sign the paperwork so I could take the vehicle home that day. When I asked them to pull my new car around so Ii could transfer my belonging to it I was informed there was a small "mishap” which resulted in a series of golf ball size indentations on the door with scrapes. During the detailing & preparation of the vehicle to go home with me, Ii was informed one of their employees brushed the vehicle against a pole. They informed me they would put the vehicle in the shop & give me a rental until it was fixed which was the morally right thing to do under the circumstances. To make matters worse they did tell me they had already had a similar issue that SAME day with another customer. After some reflection I had realized the value of the vehicle was depreciated even if it was a small "mishap" since the vehicle was put in the shop for body work and would come up on a CarFax report in the future when I would trade it in. After discussing my concerns with the OWNER Ed Bonneville, he tried to tell me it wouldn't show up on the Carfax, which everyone uses these days, as he was paying out of pocket & "knew" the body shop that was doing it & it was never reported to any insurance companies or law enforcement. This is not accurate as many entries on a CarFax report are for minimal services done such as rotating tires or oil changes. Mr. Bonneville felt that fixing the "mishap" was all that should be done & had no cares for my concerns of the depreciated value as well as stating I was a skeptic because of my legitimate concerns. So Instead of offering incentive to make my poor experience a better one he offered to cancel the sale. Needless to say I got my money back & will never give them my business. More
Very positive experience, this delivers what he promises! I would highly recommend Larry and will ask for him myself when I return for future purchases. I would highly recommend Larry and will ask for him myself when I return for future purchases. More
My wife and I had a great experience in the process of purchasing a new Dodge Grand Caravan. We have known Mike Fortier for many years and were glad to do business with him. It was our pleasure to meet purchasing a new Dodge Grand Caravan. We have known Mike Fortier for many years and were glad to do business with him. It was our pleasure to meet Erich Demetry, the salesman who handled our sale. He was courteous, listened very well, and got us into the right car for us. We look forward to service and future business with him at Bonneville and Son. Frank and Gwen Gulinello More
BEWARE...PLEASE READ! I'm here to protect as many auto shoppers as possible! A personal situation sent me suddenly out to purchase a vehicle. I went to Bonneville and Sons, HUGE mistake! With my 3 auto shoppers as possible! A personal situation sent me suddenly out to purchase a vehicle. I went to Bonneville and Sons, HUGE mistake! With my 30yr old daughter we checked out the place and bought into their sales pitch! She returned her leased vehicle for a new one. All went well for my daughter in her NEW vehicle. Within 24 hrs I was calling the Dealership with problems. (2010Dodge Grand Caravan) The van was making nasty whining noise at cold start. The rug under the paper foot mat was filthy and worn. The console between the front seats was broken. The van was suppose to come with rug mats. They couldn't get me in to check these things out for a week! I brought the van in, they had it for 2 days and said they couldn't hear the noise that I was hearing but they fixed the console and would clean the van. (they checked the power steering fluid level and condition of the serpentine belt) Well...picked the van up and the console wasn't touched/fixed the rug was the same except that someone spilt coffee or something in the van all over the drivers side door and console etc. and...when I started up the van still @ their shop it made the whining noise! And now my brakes were making a rubbing noise and my steering wheel as well! ARGH! (I have the work order/ invoice.) I care for my grandchildren and had my 9 month old with me (6pm) so after transferring everything from the rental car etc. I then complained to the front desk then left messages with the salesmen, Larry Pinard! (Beware; wear the highest hip boots you can find) I received a call back the next day from Mr. Pinard, oh don't take it anywhere else...please just spoke to my boss...bring it back we will take care of this, we're soooo sorry! We don't want you to pay that extra expense. We will give you a free oil change and clean the vehicle up like new for you. BlahBlahBla! (I still have the message he left me as a reminder) Another week goes by...have to set up appointment with their master technician! Finally back in their shop it went. I recorded the noise this time and had the sound available for the salesmen (Mr. Pinard) and the automotive dept to verify. :) After 3 days they finally admitted to hearing the noise but didn't know what it was, so they called over to Dodge and were waiting to hear back from them. (Never got follow up calls from them either...I had to call in and check in every time!) Unfortunately they would need to keep the van over the weekend! So...Im like getting frustrated and scared...what is going on with this van? I want a different vehicle now...I want out of this thing. Just 24 hrs old and its got a problem that their master technicians don't know? yikes! But what a joke, omg! The hassle the run around the bullying...the attitude! Oh their gonna work with me. They all with Mr. Bonneville worked out a good deal for me. Whaaat? Work out a deal without me? I was like noooo way! Im not the one who put a lemon on the lot to sell...YOU did! They didn't have another vehicle on the lot to make a trade with me. They were gonna take $2,000 off the return of the van I just purchased from them to trade...lol! (make me pay for this????) Was told, well someone has to pay to put this van back on the lot for sale! Yes, they wanted me to pay to recertify this van that was suppose to be certified with 125 pt. inspection done in the first place etc.! They wanted me to wait to have the problem fixed. (eventually they said it was the oil pressure relief valve) Im like disgusted, Im still without my van. Stuffing my three grandchildren into the back seat and they are pressuring me to make deals with vehicles that aren't close in price nor in size to what I originally went in to purchase with my $8,000. Sick and crazy! Test driving cars that are way out of my price range of $15,000. They wouldn't move on lowering any prices on vehicles. I needed a car...I have a job...I travel...Im the "NANNY GRANNY" on the goooooo! Seriously and honestly...I bought a Kia Sorrento listed online at a specific price and they wouldn't budge, said they wouldn't budge on the price for anyone! It took an additional $1500 from me to get the monthly payment where I needed it! Bullied and pushed to my limit, exhausted and sick I wanted OUT and AWAY from them! The Kia is a 2011 Sorrento...smelly...dirty...brakes rubbing everytime I press them...noise with the airconditioner...smelly air conditioner...dog hair all over the back of the back seat and cargo area...and I found a disgusting pair of black lace thongs in the back...yes people that's the Bonneville 150 pt. certified Kia inspection guarantee...lol! Do I have the strength yet to address these issues with Bonneville...NO! Did I test drive it...yes...it was pouring rain period and I was so disgusted and tired...emotionally drained! Hey, Im a "GOD" loving and loving...gentle...caring...sweet old lady on a budget...single and struggling to make ends meet. I am very trusting...I just prayed to get through this nightmare! (stress related blood pressure meds) Please do yourselves a big favor and unless your buying a spanking new vehicle stay away from the used certified or not vehicles being sold at Bonneville and Sons! Actually even if it is a spanking new vehicle I would stay away...the service department is ridiculous! Their mechanics are ridiculous! The communication between the service department and the front is ridiculous! They don't stand behind you, not your friend and they don't care! What are the chances of dealing with not one but two used vehicles from the same dealership as I have. Trust me please...I speak the truth! They were awful to me, told me, take the deal they offered on the Kia or take back the fixed van and return the rental! Bullies! Was told the van was ready and the time on the rental was up. At 5pm im told I must return the rental that evening or I will be charged extra fees! I had to wait because the van wasn't yet registered and therefore illegal to drive off their lot. I registered the van next morning and brought back the rental and as God is my witness...after being told the van was ready and fixed I go there and no one can find the paperwork on the van/check me out because the van after a 1/2 hr them looking wasn't ready! (with the rental car filled with my grandchildren ) Mr. Pnard hands me the keys to the van, right off I see it wasn't cleaned but he says here ya go all nice and clean as we promised and I said you call this clean and he said so now Im a liar and I said YES! Your a liar! went into the service dept and they verified...the car was NOT ready and was NOT cleaned! Oh and it didn't have the oil change done, oh wait that's right the oil light came on just before I brought it into them...lol! (so much for the 125pt Dodge certified inspection) As well, the van still made the WHINING NOISE! Not even an apology from Mr. Pinard! Just attitude! Yes everyone please, even after they replaced the so called oil pressure relief valve the van still at cold start made that horrible noise...louder now and longer than before. NOT fixed...NOT honored...NOT a satisfied experience in the least! I called asking for Mr. Bonneville but he wasn't available! Mr. Bill Dane answered my call and told me to bring the van back to their service dept., where they put me back into a rental...lol! ( 3 times back to the shop for the same issue) I cornered Mr. Bonneville personally in the lobby/desk and introduced myself with granddaughter in hand! Told my story to him personally, he excused himself and sent Mr. Dane and Mr. Pinard back to make the deal with the Kia Sorrento! Deal, what deal, again, I paid $1500 extra to make this work on my budget. (broken down and in tears) They didn't budge on the price of the vehicle not even a dime! But at least they didn't take $2000 dollars off the trade value of the van...or did they???Their sales pitch is the biggest joke ever in my 56 yrs. Ive owned many automobiles in my life and I haven't always had luck on my side, but Ive never delt with anything like this...disgusting! In my past the dealerships I have bought from always honored their customer and vehicle. This Bonneville experience will forever be remembered as the worst experience with a dealership for me! From the salesmen to his boss to Bonneville and Sons...BEWARE! Because the only family they are taking care of and care about is their own! Bonneville and Sons is small peanuts and if you get a lemon you'll be stuck because they don't have the inventory. They don't care! They are small peanuts...cutting corners and making their customers pay for it! I should have listened to my gut...and ran from Bonneville and Sons! Now I am stuck in a vehicle that is stinky dirty and 1/2 the size I need for my grandchildren and family! God Bless, AMEN and Good Luck More
Pat at Bonneville and Son was awesome. We called him on the phone to set up our financing (from our credit union) and let him know the vehicle we were interested in. We live more than two hours away, so we the phone to set up our financing (from our credit union) and let him know the vehicle we were interested in. We live more than two hours away, so we wanted to be sure they would accept the financing and still had the van on the lot. He was super helpful over the phone, so we were off. When we got the dealership, Pat was working with another client. He excused himself from her and came over right away to greet us. He then helped us out at the same time he helped her. We were in and out of there in under two hours with a full tank of gas, and an invite to come back and get any questions answered. It's a trip for us, but we will definitely be taking the van to them to be serviced. Everyone there was super helpful and friendly, even the owner! Definitely life long customers! More
