Mike was great to work with with. He was straight forward and friendly. They changed the way we viewed used car dealers. While viewing the car prior to purchasing we noticed the rare head rests were missing and there was only one key. Mike immediately without hesitation informed us he would get both the head rests and extra key. We could not be more happy with the entire process. We would certainly go back again. The only area that could have been better and again this is not a knock is that when we arrived at the dealership to complete the purchase we had to wait an hour before being seen, but we did not have an appointment and it was a Saturday. It was very easy to purchase my vehicle at Bourne's. I had seen the exact vehicle I wanted online before I went to the dealership, so I was able to walk in, talk with the first available salesman, test I had seen the exact vehicle I wanted online before I went to the dealership, so I was able to walk in, talk with the first available salesman, test drive the vehicle, and process the financing, all within about 2-3 hours. Shawn was friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle, and he made sure everything was delivered as agreed upon. In fact he let me come back a few days later to have them buff out a few scratches that we missed during the initial walk-around, which I appreciated. My only suggestion for improvement in Shawn's customer service is to return customers' calls more promptly and to return calls within the timeframe quoted for a callback. The only other issue I had was with the payoff for my trade. I traded in a car with a loan from Wells Fargo, and I was expecting a payoff letter within 2 weeks so I could submit it for a refund of an extended service plan I had purchased with the car I traded in. After three weeks I noticed that Wells Fargo had auto-debited another payment from my checking account. First I called Wells Fargo and found out that while they had record of quoting a payoff balance, the car had not yet been paid off, and the payoff balance was no longer valid. Then I called Bourne's and was told that the person who handles paying off trade-ins was on vacation for a couple weeks and was now trying to get caught up. She had apparently not payed off my trade-in before my next payment was due. She apologized and said she would take care if it right away. She called Wells Fargo again and was given a higher payoff balance (obviously, because interest accrues over time), so I had to send her a copy of my bank statement proving how much had been auto-debited. She sent me a refund check for the auto-debited car payment, then paid off the loan with Wells Fargo, and I was finally able to get that payoff letter so I could get my $1,000 refund from the service plan. It was a hassle that could have been easily avoided had the car been payed off immediately. More

We had a positive car buying experience at Bourne. The non-negotiating environment, with no pressure was very refreshing. My experience with Bournes was fantastic. Quick, kind customer service. The sales representative gave me a great deal on my purchase and a fair trade-in-value for my vehicle. Bad experience! Will never go back nor offer my business to this place again! I placed a deposit to hold my vehicle since I am out of state. I arrived to Bourne's Auto Center (~ 300 miles away from my resid to this place again! I placed a deposit to hold my vehicle since I am out of state. I arrived to Bourne's Auto Center (~ 300 miles away from my residence) to test drive Audi A6. I so glad I paid attention to the vehicle. Bourne's claimed they performed all services and vehicle is ready but Audi was in the bad shape, oil leaking, vehicle smoking all the way during the test drive. Sales person suggested that vehicle just got an oil change and smoke is probably due to recent oil change (never heard that before!) I brought my friend (mechanic) with me to help inspect vehicle. We found multiple fluid leaks (including very expensive head gasket leak) and some noise in the engine. I have done many internet car purchases in the past but this is a worst experience ever. If you're out of town DO NOT BUY from this dealer. If you do, make sure to bring 3rd party to inspect your car. Bourne's Auto Center will lie to you to make a sale. When we were leaving, another sale rep came out to tell us that they had complains from other buyers who test drove same Audi for oil leaks and smoke. Unfortunately, Bourne's Auto Center forgot to disclose that or fix oil leak issue. More
