Dropped vehicle off Monday 9/8 as scheduled 930am for oil change and state inspection. Received call at 12 noon with results of failed inspection. Defrost inoperable and both tires on passenger side needed change and state inspection. Received call at 12 noon with results of failed inspection. Defrost inoperable and both tires on passenger side needed to be replaced. After declining the tire replacement, I agreed to the diagnostic for the defrost. I didn't receive any further communication after the 12 noon call. I called back at 6:25pm for an update and was advised by Sales that Service was closed. From 12 noon to 625pm, I received no communication updates. I left a voice mail for Tristan seeking status. The next morning I received a call from Tristan with a quote to replace the door actuator module. I declined the service and expressed my dissatisfaction for the lack of communication. He offered an apology and stated my vehicle would be ready in 1hr. This is not the first time I've taken my vehicle to Bowditch Ford for routine services that normally take a few hours but ended up taking 1-2 days and lacked proactive communication. For future, I will think twice before utilizing Bowditch. No longer my first choice for vehicle purchases or servicing. My husband and son are both Ford owners and I will advise them of the same.
