First Car Purchase I purchased a 2015 Ford Fiesta. Carlos was excellent in his ability to was in my interest and price range. As a recent grad from graduate school, I ha I purchased a 2015 Ford Fiesta. Carlos was excellent in his ability to was in my interest and price range. As a recent grad from graduate school, I have a lot of expenses on my plate with little wiggle room for car payments. We had heard about some internet pricing and he didn't try to steer clear of that like most dealerships do. He pulled up the information on his phone right there and showed us what the deals were. The dealership was more than accommodating when finding the right fit. Erik did my financing and explained everything as we were going along. Additionally, this whole process was maybe 2 hours of looking at cars, the test drive, contract work, and financing...which I believe I spent 2 hours just trying to escape the vulture-like salesmen at the other dealerships. The experience at Bozard Ford was pleasant and I can definitely understand why they have a great reputation. More

Turned a negative into a positive UPDATE :: I was contacted proactively by the dealership to advise this situation had been brought to the attention of management, however I had alr UPDATE :: I was contacted proactively by the dealership to advise this situation had been brought to the attention of management, however I had already checked out. The rep was counseled on how to find the information and the dealership provided a full refund. The service manager who contacted me was up to date on my situation and discussed the steps they already have in place to avoid these situations. In my case, it was a small breakdown and the incident was remedied quickly. I have changed the dealer rating from 3 to 4, and Recommend from No to Yes. I don't expect anyone to be perfect, so ultimately if a situation can be corrected, I am fine with it. Bozard did it quicker and much more sincerely than most places I have experienced, regardless of industry. Situation: Non Ford shop diagnosed my car, contacted Bozard and spoke at length regarding problem. Sent to Bozard as it was determined most likely to be recall issue. Cons: 1. Bozard completed diagnostic ($100+ shop fees ??, and rental, $148 total) only to tell me it would have been under the protection of Ford IF the mileage had qualified. I should have been told upfront, regardless of the issue, there would be no protection from Ford. I was already comfortable with the initial diagnosis. Counter service tech advised only maintenance techs access that information. I highly doubt that Bozard is trying to make money on diagnostic fees, they probably barely cover the cost of a tech. I get they also need to make sure it is diagnosed by them before giving an answer, but in my specific situation the recall and diagnostic were already discussed at length before I ever got there. This should have been caught. It would have saved time and money on both sides. 2. There were 2 parts to my estimate: a small portion that mechanically should be done and a large portion that was choice. I do not feel I fully understood the difference and options when I left, but since this could be for many reasons, I don't think it is fair to fully count it a 'con' against the dealer. I ended up deciding to get the mechanical part completed because I don't want the erosion to get worse, but if the main portion needs to be done, I won't do it because it is heater related and I use it 5 times a year in Florida. Pros: I can see where they get good marks for friendly people, most of the techs were talkative and smiling. They washed and vacuumed my car after diagnostic. Rental car discount I think if I had an established relationship with them, they would probably have found a way to help me a little more even though per Ford I am not covered.. But as someone that came only for warranty work, who already has a mechanic they go to, it's just not worth it for them to do anything special. Overall: Not terrible, but they missed a few key areas that could have made this a different experience. Ratings: Price and Customer Service rated lower because I should not have had to pay for someone telling me a recall was expired, and Customer Service because they should have noticed this if they discussed the recall prior. Recommend 'No': I can't say I would recommend them, but I wouldn't slam them either. I think they suffer from the same problem Ford itself does, they are getting big and labor is expensive. I personally think if the service tech had noticed the recall date/mileage, he would have told me upfront but if they have the resources to get data and don't use it or if they are so busy they are multi-tasking all day, things are going to get missed. More
