Not what I was expecting. Several months ago I completed an online vehicle search through the Ford website. I was looking at the F150 trucks as a potential next vehicle, but ba Several months ago I completed an online vehicle search through the Ford website. I was looking at the F150 trucks as a potential next vehicle, but based on my budget thought that I would have to look into the used market. I was contacted thru email by at least a dozen different sales people from different dealerships in my area. including Jim Duram at Bozard Ford. I was familiar with Bozard and their reputation as a fair and reputable business because several coworkers had made recent purchases and were very pleased. My first trip to Bozard was simply a "kick the tires" fact finding trip. I asked for Jim because he had continued to offer his assistance thru e-mails, however he was busy with another client. The receptionist took my name and phone number and assured me that he would call me as soon as he came available. It impressed me that there was no attempt to farm me off to another salesperson. I wandered the lot looking at different trucks and waited for the obligatory pitbulls to show up, but beside being greeted by several Bozard staff who said if I needed anything to just ask...I was left alone. I later had the chance to speak with Jim on the phone and then met with him the following day. He was attentive, polite and showed a genuine interest in helping me figure out how to get what I wanted. After weighing my options he assured me that I could purchase new as opposed to used and that he would find the exact truck I wanted at a price that I could afford. There was no attempt to put me into a truck that was already in inventory (which was extensive) but rather Jim searched area dealers for vehicle that fit my needs and price range. Two days later I drove home my new 2015 F150 truck in the color I wanted with just about all the features I was looking for. It wasn't perfect, but it was close and fit my budget. There was never any pressure to stretch what I was comfortable spending, and I was offered several different options for financing. The actual purchase process was drawn out due to my kids and wife schedule and there was a lot of "in and out" at the dealership. Jim and the other staff we dealt with were very understanding and basically told us to move at our own pace. Questions and concerns were met with straight answers and always several options. In the end I was extremely happy with the whole process, the deal we got on the vehicle and all of the staff that were involved in helping us. The only negative is that my children now want me to buy a pingpong table and a cookie oven. Visit the Bozard showroom and you will understand... I can honestly say that this was the most pleasant car buying experience that I have had and that any future vehicle purchase will begin at the Bozard dealership and with Jim Duran. More

Wife decided about two years later she wanted something different so we went straight back to Bozard and purchased a new f150 crew cab 4x4. Again the dealership went above and beyond. I was actually impressed with a dealerships customer service. If you are from Florida you will understand but I hold everyone to the Publix standard so me being impressed takes a lot. here is where the relationship turned sour. I was in an accident and totaled my truck so I was forced to look before I really wanted to buy. I decided it was time to move to a diesel. My price point was low but there were good deals out there. After watching a few online pop up and sell faster than I could dial a phone. I asked what am I doing, I'll just let Bozard find it if they don't have one already. So I went down to st Augustine, and hour drive btw. I told my salesman buddy price what I was looking for and they just took one in on trade. After assessment and some haggling we got the deal hammered out. I asked specific questions about this truck I wanted to know if it had head studs installed and if the egr delete had been done. The head gasket would have been replaced as well if someone had done the studs. I was told yes and this created a lot of value in a higher mileage diesel. So I signed and took it home. About 4 days went by and something didn't seem right when I hooked up the trailer. I took it to a local diesel shop to have them go through it and see what all was not right. I got a list that consisted of expected oil leaks and a blown head gasket, no egr delete, no head studs, and an estimated bill around $10,000. I immediately drove to Bozard paper in hand. They gave me a few options. They offered to buy it back for what I paid no question. Tom Reinard went a step further and asked if I'd allow them to make the truck what I was told the truck was. At this point I think the salesman gave me some misinformation but not out of malice. But misinformation none the less. They assured me they would take care of it. From there forward I dealt with Russell wright and Jeff in service and Tom stayed on top of everything and kept me informed. It took two trips and I'm quite sure at this point they have taken a loss on this truck from the shear amount of money all this work has cost. However at this point I'm extremely happy. The truck was purchased "as is" so they had no legal obligation to do anything they did. It means a lot they would go to such lengths to stand by their name and provide this level of service when they didn't have to. So in the beginning I felt I may have been misled and would never buy there again. Now I will go out of my way to buy from them again. There is no substitute for that level of service, I would recommend them as a first choice even after my issues. It's still the best dealership I've visited. There's no doubt that they genuinely care about their customers and their reputation. Tom was especially helpful and took it upon himself to take on my issues as if they were his own. More
