The dealer gave me a hand-full of free oil changes when I purchased the vehicle. Every time it takes them over an hour to do a simple oil change. The last time I went, they disassembled the undercarriage ski purchased the vehicle. Every time it takes them over an hour to do a simple oil change. The last time I went, they disassembled the undercarriage skid plate I have on my truck, and left it disassembled. I didn't realize it until I got home and just ended up fixing it myself. Cost me $12 in bolts that were missing, but I won't be going back for the rest of my 'free' oil changes. Kaua is the only bright spot at the service department. More
In August 2025 I took my Tacoma in for service (a routine oil change). In July 2025 I purchased the Tacoma from Orem Toyota. In addition I purchased the extended warranty. At the conclusion of the visit, Enrique Soto informed me that the upper control arms of the ball joints on the two front tires would need to be replaced and it would be $2000. I immediately found Todd Robinson who then asked Enrique if the used car multi point inspection and warranty would cover it. Enrique then said he would have to ask the tech if the warranty would cover the cost of the upper control arms. By then it was 6pm at night and Enrique said I would need to leave my truck there. The next day I learned that the control arms did not need to be replaced. You can imagine my frustration that I had to leave my truck there as well as the mental anguish that I would need new truck parts after just purchasing the truck a month ago. Todd Robinson explained that Toyota does a thorough inspection. I thought and still think that this is terrible customer service. More

The check out process for basic vehicle service requires you to work with the tech that checked you in. More often than not you have to stand around like a dummy waiting for the tech in order to get your ca you to work with the tech that checked you in. Orem Toyota should allow all their service workers/techs to help anyone right when you walk in. I’m a big Toyota fan and having been bringing at least three vehicles there for years. More

I really appreciated their honesty when they thought our vehicle had a transmission leak but found out it was probably not a leak, they didn’t charge us for the test even though we authorized it. I also appreciated that they told us to come back in 1000 miles to have them check it again to make sure it’s not a leak. Many dealers are not honest, but I was pleasantly surprised by these guys and will definitely continue to do business with them. Way to go! Thank you so much! More
