This location is fantastic, but my last visit was a bit frustrating. I made an appointment online for tire rotation and for a recall to be fixed. The service rep told me that they don't allow appointments for just a tire rotation and that they wouldn't be able to do the recall today because "it's a new recall and our service department doesn't quite know how to do them quickly yet." hmmmm...okay??? I'll get an oil change as well even though it's not due for another 5,000 miles. The service rep told me it would be better to schedule the recall over the phone because the online system doesn't account for time correctly. PLEASE DON'T ALLOW THIS OPTION IF IT DOESN'T WORK! I checked with another Toyota dealer and they said the recall would take between 1.5 - 2 hours. The final problem was that this rep promised me he would print a copy with the prices of the upcoming services that my car needed at 60,000. When my oil change/tire rotation was finally finished two hours later, he said he didn't have time to print it, but he PROMISED to text it to me. hahaha...never happened. I know people have bad days and I don't feel like this is a true reflection of Orem Toyota. I've told many people about the great service here, but I'll hold my comments until after my next visit. More
Following a transmission service, I noticed some fluid leaking under my car. I brought it back in and spoke with Joel Kitchen, who was the service advisor on the service. He helped me reason through the symptoms I had observed over a couple of days and had the technicians put my car up on the rack for look underneath. It turns out it was condensation from the air conditioner that I hadn’t observed that closely before. This helped relieve my anxiety about a possible leak. He was courteous, professional, and patient with listening to and resolving my concerns. I came in without an appointment, and he took care of my concerns all within an hour and with no charge. Many thanks to Joel and Orem Toyota. However, the “Dealrater.com” review system was very frustrating to use. I had to create an account at the end of my review to submit it, then after I did that all my original information from the review was deleted, so I had to redo the entire review. This process needs much improvement. More
