First Time Buyers Experience! I had a great experience at Bryan Honda working with Mr. Kevin McGirt and Mr. Roy Bennett. They were very knowledgable and patient as I had many quest I had a great experience at Bryan Honda working with Mr. Kevin McGirt and Mr. Roy Bennett. They were very knowledgable and patient as I had many questions and concerns about my purchase. They made sure I was able to remain in my price range and didn't make me feel hassled into anything that I didn't desire at that time. Kudos to them for their awesome customer service! I look forward to hopefully working with them again later on in the future! My finance experience was very different however. I worked with Mr. Jay Brown and felt very rushed during that process. I did realize he had other customers waiting but as a first time buyer I was very interested in understanding my payments and additional plans provided. I would give Mr. Brown 2 stars just because I enjoyed working with his touch screen desk that he cleans every 10 seconds because people continue to put finger prints on it (hints his own report of "OCD"). Worst Experience Possible I came to this Honda dealership and found a used vehicle that I loved back in March. It was my first time purchasing a vehicle and was nervous and exc I came to this Honda dealership and found a used vehicle that I loved back in March. It was my first time purchasing a vehicle and was nervous and excited. I dealt directly with Tyrone Williams when discussing financial matter of my purchase and he came to a point where he stated "make its happen" to my sales personnel who I also worked with closely. The agreement was signed that night on top of an "I Owe You" arranged with the dealership to have certain things on the used vehicle fixed. Paperwork signed, trade in signed over to them and money paid down that night I left a happy woman. I arranged to bring the car in first thing in the morning to have work done, car detailed and get my full "buying experience" with my photo taken, free products and basically close out the buy. I arrived, had the car detailed, waited two hours and when I walked out found it was poorly done. I made my concerns known where my sales personnel jumped to try to appease my worries. Tyrone Williams walked out, found out my concerns and instead of asking what he could do, he chose to walk to my trade in (an older vehicle was traded in towards my purchased vehicle that was seen/reviewed/paperwork signed over on night prior) and began to ask me questions. He pointedly asked me about its quality, trying to fully "shake me down" on how it was an inadequate trade in based on what he was seeing in the daylight. I made a point on how that deal had been signed and agreed to when he made the statement "make it happen" the night prior and I signed over its ownership. I told him I only wanted to have a worthy detail job of two hours wait and what I was owed based on our agreement. He chose at that time to deny any of the signed and agreed on "I Owe You" paperwork, chose to embarrass me as a woman requesting better service in a male dominated field and tell me I knew no better. At that moment he actually even made the comment "so you don't want your car any more?" Insinuating I would rather take my trade in back. It was like he thought I could be tricked out of my purchase when he wasn't satisfied with his end of our deal. Appalled, I was forced to leave entirely unsatisfied, not receiving what I was promised. This man is the exact stereotype of what women fear walking into a dealership alone. He made my first car buying experience from a refutable dealership (my family has purchased SEVEN different vehicles from Bryan Honda) one I'll never forget for all the WRONG reasons. The worst part is that when a male family member walked into the dealership that afternoon to ascertain why our agreement was not upheld, he was told there must have been a misunderstanding and I was never told I wouldn't get what I was promised. The dealership has been a great one in the past to my family. My advice to female customers is that if you want fair treatment, bring your husband/father/brother in with you because I would have been ripped off from what I was owed if a male had not intervened on my behalf. More
