My wife had been driving her Pathfinder for 15 years and we decided she deserved a new vehicle. We researched all the SUV's and decided that the Kia Sorento with AWD would be perfect for her. After checki we decided she deserved a new vehicle. We researched all the SUV's and decided that the Kia Sorento with AWD would be perfect for her. After checking with some other dealers I contacted Bulldog Kia through their internet site and Shannon called me almost immediately. She was very helpful and made me feel welcome even before I set a date to meet with the staff at Bulldog Kia. After meeting her all I can say is that she's a sweetheart. When we arrived we were welcomed on the lot and introduced to James Hammond (Sales Manager) and Jonathan Pace (Sales Consultant). They were my type of people, very attentive and helpful but not pushy or overbearing. They seemed to want our business and were willing to work with us to make sure we bought the Sorento we had decided on. Jonathan took us for a test drive, I just went along for the ride since this was to be Wanda's vehicle, of course she loved it as I knew she would. Back at the showroom James checked the inventory of other dealers to make sure there wasn't another Sorento available that would meet our needs with less options (cheaper). Neither James or Jonathan tried to push their vehicle on us, and were willing to go as far as Knoxville to find a less expensive model. By this time I knew we really wanted the vehicle on the lot and James and Jonathan went to work to make it affordable for us. We had driven Wanda's Pathfinder to Bulldog Kia even though we didn't intend to trade it. James said let me look at it and maybe we can work a trade into the deal. I didn't want the hassle of selling it myself but figured we would come out better if I did. Much to my surprise he allowed me more than I was going to ask for it, and this was not off of sticker price but a lower, negotiated selling price. Jonathan and I soon came to a mutually agreeable price and James accepted it too. After the necessary paperwork was done, which didn't take nearly as long as I expected, Jonathan had the Sorento washed and filled up with gas. He then showed us how to operate all the electronics, and took the time to program both our cell phones with the Kia App and synched them with the Kia system. He also set up our navigation system and set the rear door height to Wanda's short stature. It was then off to meet Steve Carter who helped us secure the best financing rate. He made sure we made the best decisions regarding rebates vs financing rates so we had the best deal available. Again this process went much quicker than expected and we were ready to take Wanda's new Sorento home. I can't imagine having a better experience when buying a new car. The whole staff, even people we weren't dealing with were very friendly. Jonathan Pace was very personable and professional, he worked hard to get our business but was relaxed through the whole buying process. He has already called to make sure we were happy and let us know that if we needed any help learning how to operate the electronics or anything else, to call him. If you are looking for a new Kia, I highly recommend you go directly to Bulldog Kia, you won't be disappointed! More

Jamie didn't rush me into buying a car he didn't sale me any false promises or anything and when I talk to Steve he made everything else even better he sealed the deal and I know for a fact that, that it was all God's doing I was very nervous and I just knew that I wasn't going to get anything but the Lord worked it out for me and I on top of that I received 4 basketball game tickets. When I left Bulldog Kia I got home and I started crying and thanking the Lord for his many Blessings, it still don't seem real to me. I just want to thank Jamie Bales and Steve the financial person for all their help and faith in me. THANK YOU FOR THE BLESSING GUYS!!! More

Since late January, I had been searching for a new vehicle, comparing many mid-size brands and models. I finally narrowed down to the KIA OPTIMA and visited a few nearby dealerships, where the select vehicle, comparing many mid-size brands and models. I finally narrowed down to the KIA OPTIMA and visited a few nearby dealerships, where the selection was limited, and I may have had to 'settle' for something less than desired. Then I was contacted by Shannon at Bulldog after I made an online inquiry. The fact that they had the perfect vehicle in stock was only one piece of the decision to make that 30+ mile trip to Athens. The conversation with Shannon made me think the trip would be worthwhile...and it WAS!!! I was greeted by friendly faces and instantly felt like they wanted my business and would do their best to get it, without becoming intrusive. Jamie Bales, my salesperson, is a true 'southern gentleman' and showed me very high respect, gave me detailed responses to every question I had, and let ME come to the ultimate decision of making my purchase at Bulldog. The financing discussion with Wendell had a lot of back and forth verbal volleys while he ultimately found what I consider a phenomenal deal with excellent terms. Delivery of the vehicle later that week proved just as pleasant as I expected. Jamie helped with a thorough 'tour' of the options, and helped customize all the necessary online tools that go along with them. He has even arranged for a SECOND detail and did not criticize me as being 'too picky'. I am extremely excited about my new car, and especially how easy it was to come to the decision to buy from Bulldog. More

During my research and shopping phase Jamie and Shannon were the only sales people who never made me feel pressured but were completely available when I had any questions. Once I decided what I wanted I talked to several dealerships who had the car I wanted. The people at Bulldog Kia were the only ones that seemed to have a genuine desire to help me and not just get a quick sale.
