I came in for a routine oil change. My tire pressure light was also on. When checking my tire, the staff found a small nail that was causing a leak. I was told the nail had punctured th My tire pressure light was also on. When checking my tire, the staff found a small nail that was causing a leak. I was told the nail had punctured the sidewall of the tire and needed to be replaced. Then was also told the tread on my tires was just barely legal depth, and that I should go ahead and replace all tires. I only have ~35k miles on my car. I took my car to a different shop, told them how I was getting upsold and misinformed at this Toyota dealership, and got the tire patched for free. This Toyota dealership tried to take advantage of me, and my assumption is because they thought I was a woman who knew nothing about cars. I cancelled any future appointments, then received multiple call backs asking me to confirm my appointments after I had already cancelled them. I will not be returning to this dealership. More
They replaced my wipers blades that did not need to be replaced and didn’t ask me to do so! Plus, they didn’t remove the protective wrap, so they first time I used them they didn’t work. Fastest we have ever purchased a vehicle. Transmission went out on our current vehicle, and we made the decision to purchase a replacement around 18:00 on Monday 7/10/23. Made an appointment to speak with a sales rep at 19:30 & drove off the lot in a 2019 certified pre-owned RAV4 at 21:58. Only issue was the limited inventory, but not much can be done about that. Both Tyler (Sales) and Caio (Finance) stayed a bit after closing to complete the process. Overall, we were very pleased with the transaction. Quite likely we will be back when we need to replace another vehicle. More
For the first time since I purchased my 2013 Prius, I feel like I was a victim of an attempted scam! On my last service visit the advisor, Nolan, the advisor for the most recent visit, confirmed that I w feel like I was a victim of an attempted scam! On my last service visit the advisor, Nolan, the advisor for the most recent visit, confirmed that I was informed my Prius rear brakes needed replacement. The brake pad thickness was 2-3mm on the rear brakes. So when I scheduled the most recent maintenance appointment, I included the rear brake work. While running some errands during the maintenance work, I received a video from the technician showing how the work was going and the results of his testing. In the video, he stated the rear brakes were 6mm and needed no replacement. It felt to me that I was about to spend $531.00 dollars that weren't necessary! To compound this disillusion of a scam, when I called to make sure this unnecessary brake work was not performed, all of a sudden, Nolan nor anyone else, could be located to stop the fraudulent brake work prior to being done. So I hustled back to the shop to stop it. More
Had oil change; first time on my new Highlander. Just noticed plate underneath was hanging down. Technician forgot to put screw back in to hold plate up. Experience with dealership was good. We did get a chance to test drive Sienna from last year but not this year. Availability of vehicles to test drive is limited in all Toyota dealership. So I do not complain. Sales agent Jason was helpful. He was straightforward. He will give straight answers to our question and will accept things he do not know. He will research about that and get back answer later. We felt over pressured by finance personnel to purchase additional insurance. More
